Admittedly, I don't have that kind of history with the franchise. My history begins around '92 so I tend to only consider players from those teams through today. Hornacek, Majerle, Penny, Raja, JRich...

But even given our history, we've always been PG dominant, rarely playing through a 2guard. It's a different style and balance on the court.

There will have to be a shift in mentality and offensive play if he's good enough to play through and become the go-to guy. We've never had a dominant 2guard and it seems most teams now make it a point (no pun intended) to have a dominant PG and/or a dominant bigman. Can Booker evolve into a ballhandling 2guard like Wade or Harden ad need a less dominant PG who can feed him the ball and then go wait to stand and shoot? Or, does Booker play off a more dominant PG ala Klay and Steph? Can either Bledsoe or Knight handle that role or will they continue to want to pound the ball and look for their own?
Yes, this right here. I'm excited to see what happens. Some days, it's hard to even imagine a good Suns team without a HOF point guard.

And I hope Knight continues to look for his own, because he is a really bad passer.

Not I. I hope the whole team plays in a more team oriented fashion this year.

He was better than Pete Maravich, and right there with George Gervin and David Thompson when it comes to guards in the late 70's.

Those numbers resemble Dragic's peak a couple of years ago.

Per 36 Min -

Dragic 2013-14 - 50.5 FG%, 76.0 FT%, 3.3 Reb, 6.0 Ast, 1.4 Stl, 20.8 Pts
Westphal 1976-80 - 52.4 FG%, 83.4 FT%, 2.4 Reb, 6.4 Ast, 1.7 Stl, 25.9 Pts

The difference between one season of 3rd Team All-NBA and 4 seasons of 1st or 2nd Team All-NBA.

Duds. Warren can start at 3, and let the rookies earn their playing time. They may not be ready for court time at all, let alone starting. As soon as they are ready, they get the time.

Nice. He only hit the rim on one. All the rest were all net.

If we're talking about starting line-ups put me down for Eric-Devin-TJ-Dudley-Len. I do think that Chandler will get the starting nod (for a number of reasons) but I want to see Len in that role at some point this season. Knight as 6th man, maybe even a 6moy candidate like Jamal Crawford. He does have a similar skill set. Then we bring in our rookies and develop them as we can.

Can't find a link to the scrimmage. I know it starts at noon but you think suns.com would have a link up earlier.

The stream is cutting out at times. It isn't even like it is great quality.

Chriss is looking pretty good out there. Very active around the basket and he hit a three.

Bledsoe and Knight starting for one team Ulis and Booker for the other. Looks like we might just end up seeing Booker off the bench.

Half the time the white team is on offense we are forced to watch from a camera under the basket. So annoying.

There is a reason why you never see that viewpoint for whole possessions in the regular season.

Edit: Apparently it was a mistake the few times they didn't use the under the basket camera. They are pushing 100% now.

I wouldn't read into that. Dudley and Chandler were also on the White team with Booker, Tyler and Barbs.
