I like just about everything I have seen from this team in preseason, *including* the fact that they can't totally put together 48 minutes of winning basketball. I think they will be fun to watch but will lose about 2/3 of their games or more, which is exactly what they should do. We need one more top-10 draft pick to put the team over the top.

27-55? I'll take the over for sure on that.

Yeah, there is always room for another 3&D guy out of high lottery picks!!! ;)

Seriously, this is going to be a rough season if we can't enjoy moral victories. On another note, this Huertas guy can really ball. Without Ulis on board, I would be all for bring him in. I'm really about traditional point guards, not the scoring first/ scoring second/ reseting third/ asisting fourth type.

Good to see Bledsoe is in mid-season form making dumb ass crunch time decisions with the ball. Booker was no better late in the game.

37.5% shooting for LAL. Good defense, or are the Lakers just that bad?

The latter.

W/L doesn't really matter in preseason, but I can't help but be happy when we win a game.

Suns led the whole game. Every time the Lakers made a run, the Suns had an answer. Len shouldn't be the highest shot taker though.

Oooh, hate to well actually you 'Bone, but the Lakers took a 1-point lead for a single possession late in the game.

So, we expect everyone to have good games but not for the team to win? That won't happen. A losing record is the result of losing play. If you say you will be happy with not making the playoffs then you should be happy with the type of play that goes with it. Otherwise you might as well admit that you want playoff basketball.

I think a team rots from the head downward. This team doesn't have good ballhandlers and point guards, and the coaching is questionable. I think that will lead us to lose a lot of games that we ought to have won.

So far Watson has made excellent use of his timeouts. Just wanted to point that out as peeps here always used to complain about Hornacek and others before him.

We're going to lose a lot of games because of youth and inexperience.

^ That too. I just think around 30 wins, or maybe even slightly south of that, sounds about right to me. I also think that the raw talent level is such that if we keep most of these guys together, perhaps with a different PG later on, the roster has enough talent to become a playoff team in time.

I agree with that. I'm hoping Bledsoe can get there but I'm not super confident about it. Maybe Ulis but the jury is still out about whether he can be a starting PG in this league.

On the plus side, Booker handles the ball really well for a two guard.

I would say borderline elite though you couldn't tell last night. He is going to see double teams every night. Poor guy. Good thing he can also pass.

Loved the alleyoop to Chandler in the first Q.
