At least Ulis will get to burnish his skills with the JV. If Jones remains there, it might be time for a road trip to see a winning team ...

Apparently the NAZ Suns are at the top of the D-League at 10-1. Anybody know how Ulis and Williams did with them tonight?Danimal wrote:Jones with some sick highlights so far in the D league

He did. He was an assistant coach on the Austin Toros before joining the Suns.Danimal wrote:Superbone wrote:Apparently the NAZ Suns are at the top of the D-League at 10-1. Anybody know how Ulis and Williams did with them tonight?Danimal wrote:Jones with some sick highlights so far in the D league

I remember when Ron Artest was a quiet young player with a chip on his shoulder. Then Isaiah Thomas started asking him to be the enforcer on the team. I really hope Chandler's influence is enough to keep Chriss sane.“Marquese Chriss has to become our Draymond Green,” Watson said, referencing Golden State’s edgy, versatile defensive star. “And I think he gave you an example or a flash of what that can be, as far as getting the flagrant, protecting his teammate (Tuesday against New York when he shoved Kristaps Porzingis, who had knocked over Eric Bledsoe). I have no problems with that. We need a presence on the court that brings a fight to our team that is kind of contagious. It builds unity, it builds momentum.”
Why not put that in his head right now? Although I think it is very unlikely to happen, you have to shoot for the stars.Marty [Mori Chu] wrote:"Marquese Chriss has to become our Draymond Green."
Yeah! And then we just need somebody to become our Stephen Curry, our Kevin Durant, our Klay Thompson, our Steve Kerr, ...
Yeah, I'd rather go old school and use Maurice Lucas as a template. The Bobster wrote:minus the nut grabbing I hope.
Those kicks are getting out of control. And Kerr should have him in check. His antics probably made the Ws lose one title.LazarusLong wrote:Yeah, I'd rather go old school and use Maurice Lucas as a template. The Bobster wrote:minus the nut grabbing I hope.
And Luke spent a couple of years with the Suns ...
Green may be a decent player, but there's some Bruce Bowen tendencies that just aren't cool.
Agreed. I think the same about Booker's constant bitching to the refs.Shabazz wrote:Chriss needs to be mindful of not getting a rep as a hothead. Those are hard to shake. A lot of Ts already and a few dust-ups with opponents.
He has to find that balance between "plays with passion" and "Rasheed Wallace."

After the Morrii debacle, I would have believed that Coach and management would be more worried about this on court situations.O_Gardino wrote:I remember when Ron Artest was a quiet young player with a chip on his shoulder.
