Well, Bledsoe I can understand.
And Knight led us in assists with 4. As a team, we had 16 assists and 17 turnovers.
In good news, LB still knows how to play his game. Good shooting, a couple of assists, no turnovers, and he's +1 in the box score.

Watson loves him some PJ Tucker. Full on addict at this point. First he sacrificed Bender for him. Now hes sacrificing Warren. Now for his next trick he will magically start him at SF and PF at the same time!
Bledsoe played aggressive tonight. He was in another gear. Wish wed see it more.
I thought we had a chance to come back until Watson trotted out that 3 guard lineup with Tucker at the 4. Man he loves him some Tucker. Did i mention that?
Down 2 to losing by 10 because of the vomit lineup. Great job Watson.

I think he's trying to ease Warren back into things. I was unable to watch the game with the early start, but looks like Warren went 0-5 in 10 minutes so something may be going on there.

We lost to one of the worst teams in the league and we did it with vets playing big minutes. My only hope is they are showcasing them since little else is achieved by doing this. No time for bender or ulis. Makes me very nervous about the minutes for bender going forward
other observations:
- offense looked ok at times but its still in our guards hands way too much. You can basically tell 5 seconds into a possession whether most of our guards want to score themselves or not.
- warren looks understandably rusty
- Len got some nice blocks but didn't seem to see that much time tonight
- I actually liked this Brandon knight. seemed a lot more under control, wasn't jacking up long twos. Was attacking but also looking to move the ball at times. Missed a crucial wide open 3 though : (
I guess tucker and knight looked ok on national tv and hope that helps their trade value. A good loss for the lottery standings but there was limited player development in this one. Can people start throwing trade rumours out there. I kind of just want to ffwd to see this team after the deadline, since i cant figure out what the pan is currently

I've said a couple times that Bender would go back to DNPs once Warren returned. It sure seems like Watson is at odds with McDonough who was quoted saying we shouldn't be playing our vets heavy minutes and giving Chriss and Bender DNPs. Something will give soon if we keep racking up the L's.

Yeah. Chris 17 minutes, Bender 0 and Ulis 0, while the great PJ Tucker gets 36 minutes WTF. What really gets me about Watson is that he has so little emotion. He always seems mad at the world. I always thought he was a strange guy when he was a player and seems to be strange as a coach. I like my coaches to yell at the refs and high five my players coming off the court. This is supposed to be fun. Other than some of the bench guys no one seems to be enjoying themselves?

There is only one team worse at finishing games than the Timberwolves and that is YOUR Phoenix Suns.

Like Steve Smith said before the game on NBA TV, it's on the GM now. He's brought in all these scorers but no distributors. Everybody is out to get theirs. We have so few assisted shots.

Solid 9 assists in 147 minutes for our starters tonight.

Why does Booker look so trash this season. Feels like his FG% might actually be sub 40%.

He looks like a 20 year old with a lot of pressure on him.

What pressure? Self-imposed pressure maybe.. The team stinks, he isn't the best player, the fan support is garbage. To me, it looks like he thinks he's a star, but he's just not there yet.

Booker shot 40% from the field and 29% from 3 after the all star break last year. I think maybe our expectations are part of the problem. We remember him being better than he was because our other guards were Archie Goodwin and Ronnie Price.
He's 20, he continues to flash ability, but he's still 20.

Definitely self-imposed.

Watson's gotta be showcasing Tucker. Only reason to be giving him minutes like that. But even then, does that guy really need to be showcased? Don't teams know what he is? And couldn't we showcase him with 28 or 30 minutes and still get Chriss and Bender time? Warren is rusty so I understand easing him back in.
Yea it's on McD because he put this roster together, but Watson has been preaching ball movement and should have a system by now where guys are scoring off passes. We don't have set plays? We're not running Booker off any screens to get him an open jumper? Could be doing the same with Knight. How can our offense be so bad?

It's because no one is on the same page. Including our coach and GM.

I also suspected Knight played better. Checked the box, -5. Oh well.
