On that note, I'd love to see Serge Ibaka in a Suns uni. Nerlens Noel is another Ben Wallace type, that's not a bad option either. Suns just need a true power forward.

No more small forwards playing power forward. That's enough of that.

I like that fictional trade. We acquire no assets but get rid of a long bad contract. Wish we nabbed even a 2nd round pick, though.

Suns IMO need a PF real bad. They give up too many offensive boards and just can't play small every night. I think it's time to say goodbye to PJ Tucker and definitely Brandon Knight. John Jenkins can go too, cause that's just a roster spot wasted.

Oh yeah Happy Holidays !!
they already have PFs. bender and chriss, although chriss is more of a small forward.

Glad to see you posting, Uncle_Gene. And I'm glad to see that you are the same as ever. :) I think you've been copy/pasting that same since the Barkley trade.

With Tj returning to some form last game and PJ getting all the minutes he likes, wouldn't it just be better to get Bender in the D league compared to only getting garbage time. Considering on his last Pro team he didn't play big minutes either, i think it would be highly beneficial

Knight to the Kings?
On Zach Lowe’s “The Lowe Post” podcast, ESPN reporter Brian Windhorst said the Suns have discussed Knight with the Sacramento Kings for some time. Now, whether informal discussion means much at all is up for guessing.

“It’s hard to read Sacramento. Sacramento talks a lot but then never does anything, so Sacramento’s very frustrating to people,” Windhorst said. “I know that Sacramento has been talking to Phoenix about Brandon Knight since the summer. Will that ultimately get done? I don’t know, but it’s out there.”

Why Bender to the D-League would be a rare, perhaps risky move: http://arizonasports.com/story/971612/d ... isky-move/

Great article about Stephon Marbury and his idolization and all he's done playing basketball in China. Pretty fascinating.

Marbury, Matrix, Amare. All together in their athletic primes at one time. Imagine what a great coach could have done? Was always a Starbury fan. Still have my original Slam magazine issue with the 3 of them on the cover. His stinky cheese face reaction to Amare's most epic dunk ever?

They better not, at least not just Afflalo. He is not expiring (12.5M next season) and has already complained twice about his role, last season in NY and this year in Sacto. The move this offseason was Knight for the 8th pick.

I kind of think this conjecture over Bender going to the DLeague is kind of bad. IMO, he shouldn't be going to the NAZ, since he should be getting minutes in the rotation and I can't think of any good reason for him not to. This upsets me as a Suns fan, because it doesn't look like they even realize that he needs the minutes and realize that the Suns actually play better when he's on the floor.

It'd probably be something like Knight ($12.6m, 4yr) for Anthony Tolliver ($8m, 2yr) and Darren Collison ($5m, 1yr) or Ben McLemore ($4m, 1yr).

We'd better be getting picks as well. Tolliver and collison is garbage.

You forgot the "hot" adjective.

Knight is garbage. I'd be happy with anything at this point.
