Well those of us who would like to see Dragan getting backup 5 minutes, going against someone like Nurkic is not what we envisioned as he surely too small for that matchup

This second unit is looking pretty ragged - nobody can score and the interior defense is soft (I'm looking at you Bender!).

Blazers attacking the basket. It's pre season season so you'll get plenty of fouls called

Chriss and Bender playing a lot of center will be a rocket trip to the top of next year's lottery.

Yea they did, some uncharacteristic bad passes by Ulis. I was surprised Bender did challenge Harkless dunk and he forced a miss so hey . Josh getting the basket fairly easy

Warren, Bledsoe and Booker look good. Ulis, and second team getting schooled by the Blazers.

A lot of Bender at the 5. Got bodied by Nurkic which is to be expected. Didn't do too bad against Leonard. Again, he's out there, he's big, he looks the part, but just doesn't do anything that shows up in the stats. He can pull down the rebound and bring the ball up but just doesn't seem impactful overall. It's not that he's necessarily bad, just that he hasn't gotten a lot of looks offensively. He's been mostly relegated to screening and can definitely get better at screening and should study Chandler.
Jackson can get to the rim at will, he'll have to learn to finish a bit better but he gets there and creates the opportunity. He was running some point as well. A lot of dribble handoffs to get him the ball at the top of the key. He's ready to go. Unreal how good some of these rookies look.
Bleds is Bleds. Ulis looks bigger for sure. TJ looks bigger and can really score. He just knows how to play. Chandler looks good and our defense is better when he's out there.
We seem to be running some good sets on offense. A lot of ball movement, player movement, passing. Shooting is still a weakness tho. I feel like we have guys who can shoot, but aren't shooters. We're good in the midrange and getting to the basket, but Booker's probably our only pure threat out there.

Jackson is the only player on the bench unit to score so far and he has 12 pts including a couple 3's.
