Expanding on the TJ Warren discussion, I want to pose this question - who do you prefer to have on a roster you were building from scratch with an eye towards competing consistently at a high level for the next 4-5 years, TJ Warren, or Kelly Oubre JR?

Don't say that. They WILL win a championship in my lifetime. I'm not dying until they do. Consider that a threat.

Honestly, the way Warrens scores hardly affect winning at all. His inability to spread the court probably holds our offense back more than anything else. I like Warren, but I am not sure he is a winning player as a starter. He has also failed to add anything to his game since he came into the league. He has simply become more comfortable doing exactly what he did in college.
I hate to be a wet blanket when it comes to Warren. But the question to ask is - yes he scores, but does he really make our offense better?
I disagree with a lot of that. He has added quite a bit since he came into the league. Notably his three point shot is getting better and his defense and rebounding have improved noticably. When his scoring is on, it makes a big difference in our offense. When he is, it seems like he makes 80% of his shots and keeps the other team reeling. If I remember right, he did that in our first preseason game against Portland.
It's worth noting he shot 26% from 3 last year on about 100 attempts. His defensive rating was 113 which puts him in the same company as Lillard, Ryan Anderson, and Lou Williams, some of the worst defenders in the entire league.

but when loathsome old age pressed full upon him, and he could not move nor lift his limbs, this seemed to her in her heart the best counsel: she laid him in a room and put to the shining doors. There he babbles endlessly, and no more has strength at all, such as once he had in his supple limbs.
Just make sure you put a TV in my room with the game on. Thanks in advance!

Sure thing. It'll be one of those immersive holographic TVs that puts you right in the action. And genetically engineered players slamming on 30-foot baskets. All taking place in a bio dome that is one of the few places left on the planet supporting human (or posthuman) life.

Alright, I'm starting to get excited for the game tonight. Lakers are my mom's team, so the rivalry is doubly strong in my family.
Suns and Lakers are tied for the 8th spot in the west. We had ummm... balanced contributions from the whole team in the last game, and if we can build on the positives and come out playing with discipline and passion, we've got a chance to overwhelm the Lakers and keep this playoff spot.
OG SNUS!

I still don't know if to laugh at myself or not but yesterday I was so miserable. I tried to finish reading the Blazers Game Thread just now but had to stop geeez lol. I know I'm not a deluded fan cuz I had tempered expectations but I was so disturbed by Wednesday night. Well anyways here we are , bout to be the usual Laker Fan invasion keeping the most noise tonight smh but as someone had said the next game (tonight) can only be an improvement so to be continued.

Why should we or anyone feel sorry for Chriss, like he's been done wrong? Don't you have to earn your time in this league? This is annoying that it's even an issue with him, or I should say that he feels so entitled about it.

Well for what it's worth, my rant that I deleted yday had his attitude as one of my main issues on Wednesday so I'm by no means defending him. I agree with you that we shouldn't even have to worrying about someone "sulking". Oh well no pregame negative vibes, tonight will be totally different performance from the guys !

Just managed to score some tickets to the game tonight, so I will be reporting on the various basketball atrocities I witness from in the building. I'll probably need to be drinking.

I'll be there too. Probably not drinking though, as I'll be with my family.

I don't care about getting a W or an L in any particular game. But I do want to see them compete and play hard, especially against the hated Lakers. Go kick their butts, or at least show them they aren't the only team in the Pacific with interesting young talent.
GO SUNS!

If anything we have taken it easy on Chriss here. Volumes could have been written about his attitude last game let alone his play.
There is also the attitude during summer league.

Maybe this is just what happens when you draft someone with his character. I see no reason to believe his attitude would be better if we hadn't started him last season.
