You really do just see negatives, don't you?. Ya that was a terrible, terrible shot, but you also could have mentioned his solid pass on the last possession for the Len dunk. Just an observation!specialsauce wrote:Love the step back, man in your face 3 early in the shot clock by James. That’s just smart, high percentage play.
Sorry, when you have the ball in your hands as much as he does, your bound to end up with some nice plaY. But t when it’s 90% bad 10% good, I’m not praising shit. He is the exact player I hate to play with in pick up games. Holds the ball forever, takes bad shots. Nothing worse.n4th4n wrote:You really do just see negatives, don't you?. At this point I expect him to be picked up by the Spurs and turned into a consistent defensive beast. It just seems like the sort of thing that would happen to us Suns fans.n4th4n wrote:Alex Len is a very good rebound and a solid rim protector. The fact that we have played this dumbass game of rope-a-dope with him for the last few years is really frustrating.
He took one really bad shot in the first half and had 3 assists. I think your math is off. Have you said anything nice about him all year? He has had a number of solid games. Ya, and some really bad ones. But he hasn't even played 30 games in the NBA yet. And I am not even a huge James fan. I think he tops out as being a passable rotation player. It really really does. I could see him landing on the Celtics too and everyone just freaking out about him.EDC wrote:At this point I expect him to be picked up by the Spurs and turned into a consistent defensive beast. Len is a starting center, there is no doubt about that. He would be unplayable against certain lineups, certain teams, he would probably play 25-32 minutes a game, but he fills a definable (and needed) role for a team.Flagrant Fowl wrote:A big problem with Len has been the lack of organizational and coaching leadership that defined his role with for the long term. I think his draft position and subsequent selections of Bender and Chriss have both really worked against him.
He'd probably be fine getting 25 minutes a night on a contender where he doesn't have any offensive responsibilities. But it's a mistake to pay for more than 18-20 minutes in a bench role for him.
He’s 27 years old. Worry about your own math.n4th4n wrote:He took one really bad shot in the first half and had 3 assists. I think your math is off. Have you said anything nice about him all year? As long as that role doesn't require being a consistent offensive player.n4th4n wrote:Len is a starting center, there is no doubt about that.
