Game Day: Timberwolves (19 - 13) @ Suns (12 - 22), Sat 12/23/17

Chriss has 9 points but is basically contributing nothing else; 0 boards, 0 assists, 0 blocks.
Daniels has three 3-pointers already. He's fun to watch.

Looks like we're giving Monroe another DNP-CD tonight. Hasn't entered the game yet.

Have we ever played all 3 centers in the same game? As long as Chandler starts, Monroe will sit.

Pretty sure he blocked dieng, but they aren't giving him credit.Marty [Mori Chu] wrote:Chriss has 9 points but is basically contributing nothing else; 0 boards, 0 assists, 0 blocks.

Chriss grabs the board and tries to go coast to coast. Would have been impressive if he pulled that move off.

"Unwatchable" is a strong word, but this team is really hard to watch right now.

Gonna go way out on a limb:Split T wrote:Big sauce legitimately outplayed Len last year, regardless of who he was playing against. How is that ever going to realistically work out.Split T wrote:How do you know we are just going to let him walk?Marty [Mori Chu] wrote:Jackson to Len for a nice dunk. Also he wasn't ever this consistent his first 4 years.
1) We are not going to win a championship while Len is a factor in the league.
2) The way we did or didn't handle Len isn't the reason why.

Sounds like a baseless insult of Big Sauce. He proved last year he belongs in the NBA. I don’t think he’s a starter, but he’s a serviceable Center off the bench. Len was the one who played like an UDFA last year

Great run by the starters to get back into the game. All starts defensively. All 5 contributing

Chriss listened to Marty. Has 2 points, 2 boards, 2 assists, and 2 blocks since mentioning the 9-0-0-0-0 stat line

we are 2-1 against these guys so we knew they would try to make a statement though....

TJ almost always goes to the right to left cross in open court or he will eurostep. Going to that inside out crossover just now totally freezed Butler and me too lol

Another case of just because someone plays okay for us doesn't mean that they are NBA quality. All that really proves is how bad our roster has been. Big Sauce seems like a nice guy but as a 6'8 center he has a lot to overcome.specialsauce wrote:+1.Split T wrote:Big sauce legitimately outplayed Len last year, regardless of who he was playing against. Ulis looked really good at the end of last season as well. Teams knew we were tanking and just didn't really care. Tyler isn't having such an easy time this year.

really good battle back in the 3rd but that's quite a punch thrown by Wolves to start the 4th

Just when we get close enough to make it kind of interesting, Minny goes on a little run and pulls away again.

Canaan is good for this team. He’s not great, but just what the young guys need a steady hand that is willing to distribute
