Monroe is a really nice offensive player. There has to be a team out there that can use him and find a way to fit his salary on their roster.

It's not like we're going to get a first-rounder for his expiring contract. He's no Brandon Knight.

Nice jumper by Chris's. Should drive on Jokic.
He must have small hands. Never dunks on anyone, goes with two hands mostly

Im sure part of that is partially a result of playing a game the night before and the travel schedule.

The defense is the culprit tonight - Denver is shooting 66.7% overall and 50% on 3's.

And yet here we are in a five-point game.

Well, they were only +14 with him on the court in the 1st half! We can hardly afford more of that!

Schedule / travel / altitude loss. Suns had a slim chance given the circumstances. On to the next game.

The Suns did better than I expected. Put a nice first half on them. They were actually still in the game halfway through the third quarter. Then they just pooped out. Booker didn't have it going tonight.

Agreed. As Cap and Bobster hinted, Triano might have played Josh more, since he was well-rested with fresh legs. TJ and Booker both were gassed early because of the back-to-back and altitude.

I watched just the first half. Turns out that was the move. Harris missed outscoring the Suns in the 1st quarter by just 2 points. I know a few people on this board mentioned wanting him as a possible PG. I don't see it. HE is a nice player but at SG. I don't see how he plays PG full time. He doesn't facilitate.
Monroe looked good on offense. I still think it would take an injury to a playoff team's PF or C for anyone to want him. He wouldn't garner a 1st rounder and teams would probably just wait for a buyout rather than give anything of value up for him.
Canaan has come back to earth the last few games. I didn't expect him to keep putting up 14 a game but I also don't feel like he's substantially superior to James. I think he may have a better shot selection than James but his stats aren't much different.
James 10.4 ppg 3.8 ast 2.8 reb 38% FG
Canaan 9.1 ppg 4.5 ast 2.1 reb 41% FG

Bender and Jackson responded very well, I thought. They were both more ready ready to play than we have seen them lately.

well that's the most important factor for me. I didn't cringe at Mike like some of us lol but for me Canaan to my surprise having known him as strictly a shooter has been solid working the pick n rolls and just seems more in tuned with getting others involved
