I think he's going to surprise. I'm predicting 17 & 7 on 44% from the field and 38% from 3 while averaging 33mpg. If he stays healthy of course.
You honestly think that Brandon Knight will average 7 assists? His career high seems to be 5.2 in 32 mpg in 2014-15.

7 apg would have put him top 10 in the league last year. I see us more as a team with 2 guys getting over 5/game, and a couple more in the 2-3 range.

I expect us to go from 29th in the league to being in the top half.
I would be very pleased with that outcome.
Yeah, I’d call the season a success just based on that statistic- Indy, you really think his assists will increase that much? I feel like there is too much uncertainty about the offense will actually work with a first time head coach to set expectations too high.

It’s been so long since we have seen Knight play. Has he been playing anywhere? Some summer league thing? Pick up games at the YMCA? Uncle Bob’s backyard?

Last year we finished with an average of 21.3 apg (29th), where the 15th team was 22.8 apg. It should be a given we increase that by 2 a game by adding 3 good 3pt shooters to our top 8 rotation (Ariza, Bridges, and Knight--fingers crossed), and a big that can catch and finish around the rim. Even with a new offensive system.

I was kinda looking forward to teasing/trolling some of you guys who had zero faith in him being productive

Remember our 20 questions game where one of the questions was if Knight had played his last game as a Sun? I wonder who got that right?

Haha, I do remember that. Gambo tweeted last summer that Knight would never play again for the Suns. Looks like he was right after all.
