Game Day: Clippers (16-9) @ Suns (4-22), Mon 12/10/18

I think conditioning is one of Ayton's biggest weakness right now. You can see him go hard for 3-4 minutes then get totally gassed. I wonder if his effort issues are linked to him thinking he has to keep some gas in the tank or something. That line of thinking wouldn't surprise me from a young man. But man, when he is active and engaged, he is like a totally different player.

I have noticed that for awhile. I'm thinking it is possible it's a physical condition even, such as POTS or something, that he should get checked out for, since he seems to get gassed more quickly than he should.n4th4n wrote: ↑Mon Dec 10, 2018 7:31 pmI think conditioning is one of Ayton's biggest weakness right now. I mean. I think he has just always been so big and athletic and dominant, he's never had to be in great condition before. He will get there. I hope.JeremyG wrote: ↑Mon Dec 10, 2018 7:51 pmI have noticed that for awhile. We haven’t tried Point Bender yet

Hopefully.TheOriginalOriginal wrote: ↑Mon Dec 10, 2018 7:25 pmWhich is saying something, I think early he's been about as active as a guy with his physical gifts SHOULD be, this should be the norm for him. Maybe he'll get there.

What's wrong with TJ Warren?
Re: Game Day: Clippers (16-9) @ Suns (4-22), Mon 12/10/18
Warren always seems to have attitude issues.

Ayton with 9/9/2 and 3 blocks at halftime. He is playing much better against Boban the second time around.

I honestly see no reason why he's not avg 20/12/2blk as a rookie. Everything but the assertiveness is already there.INFORMER wrote: ↑Mon Dec 10, 2018 7:57 pmHopefully.TheOriginalOriginal wrote: ↑Mon Dec 10, 2018 7:25 pmWhich is saying something, I think early he's been about as active as a guy with his physical gifts SHOULD be, this should be the norm for him. Love, Hurts.

I guess Warren was just taking his minutes restriction thing seriously.

I am coming around on Josh Jackson. He's got huge flaws, but he can actually handle the ball and pass, and he can score as long as he isn't take long-distance jumpers. His defense is pretty decent if he's engaged. I think he is a salvageable player. If he can control his shot selection I think he can be one of our most productive players. He just has to play right and discipline himself.
Re: Game Day: Clippers (16-9) @ Suns (4-22), Mon 12/10/18
I think Josh will be a good player; it just doesn't make sense to keep him. His value is always going to be limited due to the depth we have at wing positions.

That looked like a pretty clean block by Ayton on gallinari
