What the f*** is wrong with this team???!
Other than having 3 of our top 6 out with injury/suspension?
I’m taking about the effort. There is no excuse for the lack of that. I’m not expecting these guys to blowout them out but this team is still better than what they are showing. It’s early and I hope it changes but I don’t like what I’m seeing so far.

Edit: also fouling a dead-eye 3PT shooter two times in a row is inexcusable.

Cam Johnson is going to be a great role player. And that’s okay!

I really Hope Okobo takes advantage of this opportunity. Still have a soft spot for him.

Someone mentioned in the last game thread that Okobo was a shooting guard previously. Well he ain’t good at that either
Probably me. He’s not shown much in the nba, but he was always gonna be a project. Think he’s kinda pushed out here with Rubio/Booker/Tyler. Ty next in line to be backup 1/take over the Tyler role. Lecque has probably taken the project role. There’s still talent there, but I doubt he’s with the team in 2020/2021

Kaminsky should have to pay a $5,000 fine for every layup he misses.

Somehow we’re at the line with a chance to tie the game up

He’d be broke by All-Star break

Man, I thought Phoenix was a streaky shooting team but ladies and gentlemen, the New Orleans Pelicans!

Fortunate to be up by 7, but the defense picked up in the 2nd quarter.

Oubre with the 3 to put us up 7 at the half. He’s been our best player so far.

So happy to see the energy pick up. Overreacted to the low energy earlier but was just worried after the last two games.

I really feel he is our 3rd star after Booker and Ayton. He can be so frustrating but when gets it going he is really fun to watch.

Kaminski and Saric together just isn't working.

17-6 run by Pels to start the 3rd.

Zero defense again.

On which end? Oh both? Watching Kaminsky dribble without purpose is cringeworthy. I didn’t check but it feels like he’s about a -70 in this game so far

I don't know if he ever dribbles with purpose. He just figures it out as he goes. Sometimes.

Two, big, unathletic softies playing together - who would have guessed there might be defensive issues?

And combined they're shooting 4 for 15.

Does Devin Booker know there's a basketball game being played? Just checked the box score and big fat ugh.

Think we’re seeing some defensive miscommunication here...3 quick buckets on blown coverage for an 8-0 run by NO
