I hope Ayton is taking Luka’s performance personally.
Broken record ! Lol. Just blow your Doncic load already so we can move on
Blow my load after just 14 minutes? Not me!
Hahahah

Man, I would like Bridges so much if his shot were falling.
Yep

Rough 2nd quarter so far
I know Monty gonna have his hands full with minutes distribution now but I'm a little disappointed to see Diallo only get a minute

Finally intensity picked up, all because of Baynes.

Oubre hit some shots.

Bodies flying everywhere

I know lots of got tired of Devin playing hero ball last couple seasons even if sometimes out of necessity but although I appreciate him trying to be unselfish now I think he still doesn't have the right balance most nights
The whole in the flow of the offense think is neat and all but he really needs to be more aggressive sigh

This is a make or break season for Booker.

I’m tired of him sucking dick for 10 games in a row to then have 2-3 good games.

You got your money. Now show us you’re worth it.

This loss is all on him playing like dick while yet another players best player shines.

Doncic aside, Hardaway is killing the Suns. Too many wide open looks. Defense?

7-4. Book was a lock for All-Star and Monty a COTY candidate. Feels like a lifetime ago.

It’s all on Booker.
Every night the opposing team has the best player on the court. Not going to win if he doesn’t play like an all star. He’s playing like pure hot garbage

Found it interesting that most of the night we guarded Luka with our pgs....
Didn't expect that

Man, I know it gets old, but it would have been a lot of fun watching Booker and Doncic together.

I have a feeling that JJ versus penny will understandably look like nothing in the coming years with regard to the doncic versus ayton dynamic. And I get it, and I feel it, I really do.

The McD hangover in full effect - he just couldn't get enough of the centres with Len, Chandler and finally Ayton when it was pretty obvious the league was going guard focussed.

That being said...

- Pulling the trigger on a Doncic would have been tough for anyone let alone McD. I was borderline but if I'm honest I couldn't get past Ayton's tools and Doncic's average three point shooting ... and him being a 'white euro risk' even though I figured he was definitely different.
- The Lakers are doing just fine with a centre as part of their big two / big three
- Trends in basketball can change, and the mid-range isn't dead (https://bballwriters.com/analytics/why- ... ach-other/), it's more about maximising a player's contribution to overall PPP and if it's the player's mid-range game that works for them (think Kevin Durant) then use it. Ayton can definitely dominate the mid-range.
- It was a hell of a draft class (Trae Young for 49 pts tonight) but it really defined the statement that sometimes it can be better not to get the number one pick. How many GM's in the NBA would have taken Doncic over Ayton? My guess is very few.

And Booker's still adjusting to Rubio, Ayton isn't playing etc.

I'm disappointed in Devin. He should have won this game for us. I see that he can't be ball dominant like Luka. But only 16 shots from your max paid star player is inexcusable. He has to figure it out or we are screwed for good.
