I think we should sell so we can all watch him turn into a monster on someone else’s team.
Like Dragan or Chriss or Josh Jackson or Alex Len or Robin Lopez?
Give me a break. He is nothing like any of those players.
Agreed. but it isn't like we have a history of drafting good players that turn into even decent players on other teams, much less monsters. How many good draft picks do we have over the last 10 years? Guys that exceeded their average for their draft position? I would say two: Book at 13 and Bogdan at 27.

The knucklehead that made that trade is so far the best GM Sarver has hired.

Shaq actually was not that bad for us. He even made the All-Star team the following year. But it was ultimately a bad trade that divided our front office and our players, and we lost a great player in Marion who should have spent his whole career in a Suns uniform.
Shades of the Thunder Dan for Hot Rod Williams trade.

The Shaq trade was beyond terrible. Shaq's personal performance when the offense was built around him under Porter, means absolutely nothing.

If the Suns can just survive the next 4 games, the silver lining is that they should* get health post All-Star break. I think that everyone should be back or very close to being back. If no one makes it back before the All-Star break, here is the amount of time away for injury:
Kaminsky - 7 weeks
Baynes - 4 weeks
C Johnson - 4 weeks
Jerome - 3 weeks
Saric - 3 weeks
T Johnson - 2.5 weeks

Kaminksy's stress fracture is taking a while to heal. I wonder how bad it was and if he'll be back before the end of the year. He's not great and I can't root for him individually, but at least he's shown he's an NBA player and can give productive bench minutes at times.

Didn't they say at the time it would take between 4-6 weeks? I can't remember if that's right, but that's what I recall for some reason. On that timetable, he should be back post All-Star break, no?

Dude! Get over it. He beat your precious Wildcats. He's now a Sun.

Kind of worried about the locker room currently
Booker may be pissed we did nothing to improve and tire of Aytons constant yapping
Tyler and saric know They are not wanted yet they are still on the roster.
There a few players we should look at from waivers or who are potential buyout candidates

Both of those guys have no one to blame but themselves. Saric has been inconsistent and Tyler has stunk.

Lol come on, I didn't put in any strange criteria. I didn't put in per 36 or any % restrictions. It's just 18 and 12. And it's a very rare achievement in Suns history.

Agree. Kind of ridiculous of Cap to spin the numbers in Per 36 context. That's hyperbole production. There's the reality, which he'll conveniently brush off and point to something as absurd as "Kaminsky puts up almost the same numbers in Per 36 minutes". Guess what. Kaminsky is a lower tier athlete that could never sustain those kinds of numbers over a 36 minute span thus it's an absurd point of contention.

Ayton has played 21 games
Barkley did it in 76 games, Walk 81.
Hardly an apples to apples comparison.

This is also a great point. Let's see where Ayton is when the season ends.
