Around the League: Week 2 12/28-1/3

I don't want to see Josh Jackson fail. I hope he has a long career in the league. I mostly root for our former Suns in their new homes, whether it's Bender or Rubio or Jackson or Ish Smith or whomever. So long as they don't get in the way of our quest for a title, of course.

Jackson got a ton of usage with Griffin and Rose out. That's not going to happen most nights, and he occasionally put up numbers like that when he was young and raw in Phoenix because it was a similar situation.

I watched some of that game and he's a little better, certainly more under control, but I don't think he's on the verge of becoming a reliable starter. Good for him that he's not a total bust and out of the league.

Also watched part of the game. He is playing better but he still makes some head scratching decisions at times & when he shoots from distance I am always surprised when it goes in.

This is the era of guards creating fouls. It's one thing Booker doesn't do as much, and I both respect that and am frustrated by it.
