I think Book is more of a rhythm shooter than a C+S guy, which is where most 3s come from. He's modeled his game after Kobe, another midrange killer off the dribble and in the post but not a pure 3pt shooter either (same as MJ for that matter). He's a threat, which is important, but it doesn't feel like he's really comfortable out there in C+S situations. Some guys are just better on the move.

Assuming Paul sits it out, Booker will have a lot of turnovers and Ayton will still be bullied by the Cavs front court.

Seems like the only chance of this being a win is if Mikal and Cam both get 15+ points.

I think Moore breaks out for a 20 spot. Gallo or Carter may get some burn and go off because of the Cavs smaller backcourt.

It worked last time. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

Yes, we should win this game. These are exactly the kind of games we lose.
Oh yeah. It’s happening.

I’d start Carter and see how he plays D. Let Book just score at will and see if he opens up shots for everyone else as the Cavs adjust.

Right? Does Ayton ever play well against Drummond?

bajan he is shooting 10% better from 3. (Oh, and I think that overall FG% was prior to their last game)

What surprised me as much as Sexton's efficiency was how much book's scoring, efficiency, rebounds, FTAs, FT%, and assists have dropped off this year, while actually increasing his TOs.
I think the TOs are about the same and believe me it annoys me too lol. I still think he doesn't always navigate doubles the best and the offensive fouls are a smh moment majority of the but tbf I think he gets called for some BS too.
I was never worried about the FT% and after being under 80% in the first 9-10 games he been shooting around 90% since so I expect that will keep going up from the overall "low 84" he is at now. Likewise the scoring is closer to 26ppg in that same time frame so he trending in the right direction.

Sexton is playing well but even peeping at his game log, Book % are much steadier while Sexton has some .41 and sub .40 shooting games mixed in with hott games so let's make sure tonight is one of his inefficient nights  8-)

Ok Moore play has been better after a rough start but who will be the next initiator tonight (excluding Book)
We all know running point is not Jevon thing, don't think it's Gallo's either so just Book n Moore tonight ?

Moore has continued to do something good with the minutes he has been given. Let's hope he does that tonight.

Or are we starting Book at PG with Mikal, Cam, Frank and DA? I doubt it.

Monty Williams said the Suns' lineups and such are gonna depend on what the Cavs do. They aren't sure how Cleveland is gonna go about it so they'll adjust from there
So we have to wait and see what the Cavs are going to do before we decide what we are going to do? I think one team has a winning record and one team doesn't. Make them adjust to us.

Yea Cam been settling back into a good rhythm off the bench, the other thing is that means our 2nd unit is then very small

Either way this is clearly not a game for Monty to do the all bench or even four bench guys on together thing. He really has to effectively stagger the minutes somehow

Maybe Moore stays coming off the bench tonight to give us the extra ballhandler and scorer with the 2nd unit. Start Jevon or Gallo next to Book since we can't really trust them to initiate offense and be a steady hand.

The ESPN injury report says Paul, Crowder and Nader. Does that mean Saric and Payne are back?

I've been making my jokes in the thread but man the Players OUT list tonight is fairly significant. Looking like a big night for Jones and Jalen, our bench bigs have to contend with Allen so yea this will be a key
