It’s been eerily quiet from Republicans when it comes to Gaetz. At least Trump stuck to of age porn stars.

Re: NY Gov. Cuomo scandal
I do not think that is true. He hung out with Epstein.
Re: NY Gov. Cuomo scandal
Trump seems to at least have been smart enough not to send payments to young girls on a public Venmo account, and then brag and show pictures of the girls naked on the House floor. (What a moron Gaetz is.)
Re: NY Gov. Cuomo scandal
Now, this is interesting, and I'm curious where it will lead. Trust me, you'll like this Indy & Mori. It may have more teeth than the other stuff.

Re: NY Gov. Cuomo scandal
I think your post illustrates a way in which we misunderstand each other. I don't like shoddy gossip content from random Twitter people, even if it looks like it might confirm my political biases if true. An important difference between us is that I do not accept information presented in this form. I refuse to get my news from random Twitter people passing along gossip and links to weird shady web sites. That is not journalism. I want actual investigation and fact-checking and editing and journalistic standards. A big problem in our country right now is that many Republicans and conservatives have become so distrustful of the "mainstream media" that they've decided to accept crappy randos on Twitter as a full substitute.
Re: NY Gov. Cuomo scandal
I appreciate your attempt to explain where you like your news from. I knew this already though. Even though titles & tiares mean nothing to me, I wouldn't just give you someone that is a nobody that means nothing. This was an olive branch to you, even though it appeals to your confirmation bias, it wasn't just that. It was an honest attempt to offer some truth that could really have some teeth that affects Gaetz. You could have in a very short response told me that you didn't know who this was, but I appreciate the dissertation. I feel that I need to explain that this wasn't just some random Twitter user. This isn’t some anonymous source that then gets debunked 6 months later. Sure, he doesn't have a trusted, verified check marked account. If you are in need of some appeal to authority, he is the one that created the shadow net, that was/is used by our government to run iia and psyops on countries we are trying to take over. In your own world of computer expertise, he is magnitudes above yourself. He turned whistle blower after he saw that the government was turning his own creation on it's own citizens.Mori Chu wrote: ↑Sat Apr 17, 2021 4:58 pmI think your post illustrates a way in which we misunderstand each other. I would be careful putting all of your trust in the false idols of the msm. Idk if you're aware of this, as it seems this may come as a surprise to you, but many many of these approved "journalists" have been exposed as blatantly lying to everyone and peddling propaganda. They haven't been practicing the proper "journalistic standards" and have been throwing them to the side while taking advantage of good will they've built up over time to push falsehoods.

fox news is a hell of a drug..
Re: NY Gov. Cuomo scandal
In2 your response to Mori complaining he typed out a dissertation was twice as long.

By design

Re: NY Gov. Cuomo scandal
My "dissertation" was 122 words, 703 characters; or 3 tweets. Your reply was 285 words, 1582 characters; over twice as long. If my post was a dissertation, what was yours? An encyclopedia?
It's impossible to talk to (non-Never-Trump) Republicans. They've had their brains poisoned by years and years of toxic propagandic Fox/GOP media sludge, and now they reject knowledge and expertise as inherently suspicious (note how he calls them "journalists" in scare quotes, and says people with credentials wear "tiaras"). They also completely reject the role of journalism and fact-checking in helping to debunk garbage misinformation content and would rather drink it directly from the fire hose. Their critical thinking skills and BS detectors have atrophied to the point of futility. There's no reasoning with these people because their philosophy inherently rejects reason.
Republicans are not all stupid, but the vast majority of them have become deeply ignorant. The problem will solve itself in time, since almost nobody young is a Republican; they will eventually die out. In the meantime there's little to be gained by trying to talk sense into them.

Re: NY Gov. Cuomo scandal
Is it ok if I respond?

Re: NY Gov. Cuomo scandal
I didn't reply to this for a few days because I didn't like the question. Of course you can respond; I have not banned or muted anyone from posting. I feel like this question implies that your voice or opinions are being "canceled" or censored. That seems to be a popular complaint from some circles. But you are always welcome to post your views and state your opinions. I just might disagree with them sometimes and perhaps even imply that your views are very silly.
Re: NY Gov. Cuomo scandal
I figured that was what you were doing. I wasn't trying to imply that you were canceling or censoring me. It was more to the dismissive "It's impossible to talk to (non-Never-Trump) Republicans." rhetoric used. I thought to myself, "Would he even read or listen?".Mori Chu wrote: ↑Wed Apr 21, 2021 9:57 amI didn't reply to this for a few days because I didn't like the question. Re: NY Gov. Cuomo scandal
This guy long since needs to go.
Re: NY Gov. Cuomo scandal
I didn't want to make a new thread for this, but, LOL, what a failure the Gavin Newsom CA governor recall was for the GOP. He got like 2/3 of the vote to remain as governor.
Re: NY Gov. Cuomo scandal
Not really sure it was a failure for them. They got to spend 300M of California's money, that would have likely been spent on helping the homeless, or helping fight COVID, or some other thing Republicans hate.
Re: NY Gov. Cuomo scandal
Rachel Maddow was showing the leading Republican candidate for California Governor’s web site a day before the election. It explained all the fraud that happened in the election that hadn’t happened yet. It claimed they did a statistical analysis after the election and proved a bunch of fraud even though the election didn’t start until the next day.
It sounds lime they wanted to get a jump on all the fraud accusations they were going to levy after the election but, accidentally published it before the election actually occurred, which makes them look like Trump Republicans.

In four years, you don’t have to vote again. We’ll have it fixed so good, you’re not gonna have to vote.
Re: NY Gov. Cuomo scandal
Lol .. still won’t be enough to convince un-convinceable ..
Re: NY Gov. Cuomo scandal
The GOP is no longer trying to actually grow their base so that they can win elections. They want to denounce, subvert, erode, and overturn elections. That's their pathway to power in 2022 and 2024. If the Democrats don't protect voting rights and tighten the ways that votes are counted and electoral votes are cast, the Republicans are going to literally overturn the 2024 Presidential election.
