I'm going to buy an NFT of a Kelly Oubre doing pushups GIF and then give it to Saucey.
I was going to post literally that exact same thing but I didn't think anyone would know what an NFT is.
I was annoyed and didn’t know what I was even annoyed by so I had to google it and that was also annoying. In conclusion, Kelly Oubre sucks!

He is probably the best defensive Green to play in the NBA.
Yeah, he's got Gerald beat by a country mile.
Is he really better than AC Green?
Or Rickey Green?

Not rich in my case, just nerdy. :-) NFTs seem like the dumbest waste of nerd money I've seen in a while. Must be nice to have that much to burn...

Wow, didn't see that coming.

I wonder how many NBA media types will go back on their lashing of the Suns for that trade. Wait, I already know the answer. None of them.

Why? You want to see the sideline outfits TJ can pull off on a $10M/year salary?

I think it was a bad trade in that we could have and should have gotten more for TJ, no matter the outcome. It's like I'll always hold a bit of a grudge on how the Lakers got Pau. Just because Marc turned out amazing doesn't mean that Pau should've gone for some scrub and an unknown guy who was drafted in the 50s...

I could settle for not getting anything for him. But to give up a pick too? Ridiculous.

Fully agreed. It was a depressing day for me when I saw that trade.

Yeah, I also lost a lot of sleep over the 32nd pick.

Yeah, but we like it when Saucy goes off the rails. :D

So this means Oubre is open to coming back here to the Suns at the MAX and STARTING??

I don't think the Warriors will be too broken up about not offering Oubre a raise and starting role.

Warriors fans don't really care because they've been Lakers fans since last season.

Looks like the Celtics are the front-runner to sign Drummond. That makes losing Theis a lot more palatable. For all his flaws, Drummond brings a lot of what they're missing.

Notes from Around the League:
  • I didn't realize Brooklyn picked up Alize Johnson. He had 23/15/5 the other night in blowout loss. The Suns were interested. I would have loved to add his rebounding and defense.
  • Charlotte continues to win despite losing LaMelo. Rozier with 26 points and 11 assists last night in a win against Miami.
  • Norman Powell's Portland debut: 22 points (5 3's). I really like how he has turned it around after some lackluster play after he signed his big deal with Toronto. But I don't get how Portland is building. Just too much redundancy. They have invested in all of these small guards: their team is Lillard/McCollum, but then they bring in 6'3 Powell and they already have Anfernee Simons (also 6'3) in a key reserve role. I'm sure they'll take a page out of Monty's playbook and field three small guards, but that just isn't a recipe for long-term success.
  • Also from Portland: Robert Covington had the kind of night I thought would be more of a norm for him - 15 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 steal, 4 blocks. The blocks are more than can be expected, but this is the kind of all around play they need from him that he showed in MInnesota and Houston. His play has picked up after the first third of the season, and they'll need more nights like this from him if they want to make a meaningful run in the playoffs.
  • Speaking of Houston, what an abysmal matchup between them and Minnesota last night. Houston takes the L. John Wall was 6/25. Absolutely brutal.
  • Zion Williamson: 39 points, 16/19 FGs, 10 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 steal, 2 blocks. Enough said
