Won the 2nd qtr by 17. Cs couldn't keep up once we started rolling. A lot of contributions from everyone - McGee with 11/9/2, Shamet with 10 pts on 4-8 shooting, CP with 9 assists, Mikal 3-3 from the field for 10 pts, Stix with 7 and 6.

They need to start moving the ball around again.

I just love JaVale McGee so much.

Jalen Smith had a really nice first half. I wish we hadn't given up on him so quickly. I think he's an NBA player. He's just young.

We've played some bad teams this season who probably were poor on D, turnover prone or just inexperienced but at least everyone had some dudes which might mess around and get buckets. This is the first game in a while where I just felt like the opposing team O was way too inept to bother us, know they're missing Brown but tsk "No Bueno"

Celtics were finishing a tough West Coast road trip, and they looked tired ....

Smart is a good defender and hustle guy, but his offensive skills are limited ...

I didn't enjoy the Payne-Elf minutes. Hope they don't have to play together too often.

Elfrid Payton has been pretty abysmal for us. I miss the days when we had a lot of random guards on the end of the bench who I was excited to root for, like Ulis or Okobo or Lecque or whomever. Payton really hasn't figured out how to contribute for us.

Also, I would be happy to see Wainright succeed, but he came in and put up 2-3 shots and missed all of them badly. Not sure if he is at an NBA level offensively.

Shamet had a nice game. Really a solid performance from all 5 of our starters, plus Cam Payne, Cam Johnson, and Smith. Impressively balanced effort where 7 players scored in double-figures and nobody had over 20 except for JaVale's 21 (rofl).
