This is almost shocking to me just because it's Elfrid lol
So the guy actually has a sense of humour and, actually talks... ?!?
Even jokes around with the fellas ?!?

That tweet is like the first sign of personality I've seen from him smh lol, then again maybe the Baby pics stuff during timeouts
I thought Paul said something about Elfrid and him being close.

I love that JJ is all in on us. I know he’s close friends with Paul, but he’s still quite possibly the smartest basketball voice with a large platform out there right now.

We’re always hard to beat, but we’re flat out unbeatable if you don’t hit your 3s…

I saw a stat on the Philly pregame broadcast. I can't remember it exactly, but they were something like 17-3 when they made more 3-pointers than their opponent. They outshot the Suns 10 to 6 from deep in this game.

It really was an ugly win.

I'm also a tequila guy, so clearly Book and I should be best friends.

I would argue that it's been Mikal's go to shot for a while now 😊
Just he's shooting more 👍

Either way it's definitely becoming a signature shot and expected to see a couple every night

Crazy thing is that we have 5 wins this year where we shot between 22% and 26% from 3.

Just shows we are not a one trick pony.

Yep. And despite having Cam Johnson, we are not a great 3P% team. Only 11 wins this year came shooting over 40% from 3. And we only have one guy shooting over 40% for the season (I won't count Javale who is technically right at 40% )

Since Payne went down, Mikal is scoring 19.0 on 60/34/92 splits. That is on 12.4 FGAs, which would be 2nd on the team for the full season.

Ya Mikal has been awesome lately and is making me feel prettt good about him being more reliable as a 3rd scorer in the playoffs.

Over the course of a season I agree with this--but those 7 games occur in the span of ~2 weeks.

Despite my talk in the other thread about not worrying about the extended minutes for Paul these last few weeks, I am still worried about injuries in the playoffs.

We only have 2 PGs and 2 big wings that are really playable in the playoffs, and an injury to one will be a huge burden on the other.

Every team has to play with basically the same injury house of cards. Injury hits every team. Some harder than others. It’s like a box of chocolates…

We actually rank 6th in the league in team 3P%. But we’re 23rd in shots made.

I worry about this a little bit. We are a good 3-point team but don't seem to win a lot of games via 3-point barrages like somebody like GS does. You think of this team as having a lot of great 3-point shooters, but a lot of nights they don't really fall. Guys like Bridges, Payne, and Shamet are pretty hot-and-cold; the guys I really trust shooting 3s on a nightly basis are Cam Johnson, Booker, Crowder, and sometimes CP3. I wish Bridges were just a bit more reliable of a shooter, that would make a ton of difference. Or if one of our bench guards could deliver 3s a bit more consistently.
