I’d do everything I could to keep Cam, but would be hard to say no to an Ayton/Saric/3 1sts for LeBron deal, no?
3 1sts? Oof. No thank you.

Three 1sts for a guy pushing 40?

3 1sts for arguably the greatest basketball player of all time who’s still dropping 29/8/7 numbers at over .600 TS%
Think what we’ve done with our last 3 1sts:
Jalen who was traded for Torrey Craig
Landry Shamet
Filler in the CP3 deal
Would you trade Craig, Shamet, Ayton, and a 1st?
If we win the title this year, then I don’t bother, but if we lose…I feel like this would be the best all-in move to make.

Agree to disagree; I don't think I even trade Ayton straight-up for a 38-year old LeBron. I get that he's still producing, but that 14 year age gap is just too much for me.
But I also realize I'm the kind of fan (in all sports) who isn't a fan (lol) of my teams going all-in (and yes, i realize Chris Paul's age, but i felt the capital we gave to get him didn't mortage the future).
And while I for sure don't want the malaise years again, I honestly feel like I would rather have a few decent chances to win it all than to shoot the proverbial wad, miss, and then rue the long-term consequences indefinitely.

Maaaan I really didn't expect to come see such a post Split smh lol
Despite constantly being lauded for his unselfish play, it's always structured around his ball dominance. My personal hot take is LeBron can't play in a .5 system
Can't believe we're discussing this lol

I wasn't gonna post this but I got you bro
I thought of you, Bobster, "FF" who might actually watch this cause you guys luv doing the ranking stuff and it appealed to me mainly because of the Fantasy League element lol.
Maybe even Laz might be interested but hey you say you're bored bruh so this is like an hour

Np man , I'm on sick leave so I have nothing else better to do
I actually got quite interested in how ppl were building their teams (too much free time ) and obviously looking at each roster as they went along had me shaking my head at the hypothetical
I think it said something along the lines that Cam Johnson would have to miss his next 30-ish or so 3s and he would still have a higher 3-pt shooting percentage than the competitors in the 3-point shooting competition.
I get that he would have still been at the Weekend to be acknowledged, still doesn't explain suiting up.
He could have gotten the award in street clothes but either way we'll know soon enough what the full story is

The game started to get into a good rhythm until Chris Paul entered. It's pretty awkward to see him running around out there with one hand and it's really ruined what would've been a cool moment to see him and Booker go at it a little more.

Book wanted to get a rip-through foul on him, haha
