Pivotal game. I'm nervous, but hey, if we can't beat a team that wasn't even able to win half of their regular season games, we don't deserve to be called a title contender. I know we can do it. The home crowd should help some of the nerves and help some guys' shots to start to fall. GO SUNS!

Not singling you out Mori but I been seeing this online alot so just gonna speak on it. I made multiple posts during the season cheering on Willie Green for the turn around from 3-16. They were much improved before CJ, improved again after he joined but then Ingram missed like 2wks so that affected their record again. Then their record doesn't account for Larry Nance who only played a few regular season games
I think the avg fan just looks at their record without context especially the media and our Haters keep bringing it up which leads me to the Home Crowd.
Most are going there like We should be blowing out this 9th seed. My thing is then what happens if Pelicans keep game close, is their a tension in the air because fans in denial that Pels are good so don't think game should be close. Or do the fans keep the energy up as if it was the Warriors because they went to the game in a different mindset knowing it would be a battle ?

Makes for an interesting dynamic I believe
In a perfect world, we front run tonight with the place being bedlam from minute one and doubt doesn't creep into the Arena off (and on) the court

Ahhh
The internet is having a time smh

Alvarado continues to be a cult hero. I actually laughed tbh cause as Monty would say I have to keep my "emotional stamina" in check. I can't afford to be on edge bout the game all day

This Pels team is pretty easily the best team that didn’t get home court in round 1. I’d much rather have played utah, Denver, or Minny. Honestly Dallas too. They were a 9 seed, but been playing like a 4 seed.

I didn't want to mention this, but there is a real possiblity tonight is Al's last game ever. The Suns' job is to help make sure it isn't!

He would quit before the series is over? Or die? What are you saying here?

He only does home games now. Jon Bloom calls road games.

Oh, I thought I saw a recent video of him on the suns plane. I didn't realize that because I never catch games completely live.

Is he retiring?

He hasn't said. And the last time someone directly asked I thought he said he couldn't see himself not doing it. He lost his wife a while back, and I think he just doesn't have much to retire for. I mean, it isn't like you retire to spend time with family when your kids are in their 60s.

Jon Bloom said recently that he has no idea if Al is going to retire. But after 50 seasons and at age 89, I could definitely see it happening. Even Vin Scully retired at 88.

I think most of us were like "Maybe Bizzy is another body we can throw at Giannis" when he could do no wrong in his first weeks with the team
Are we desperate enough to try this...

Actually I think against the Bucks is indeed one of the games Rankin is referring to.
Our secret weapon bout to be Unleashed 🤐🤐

I don’t like double big because we are already struggling to score, but Biyombo might do a decent job on Ingram. The offense would get ugly though. That seems more like an option with Booker back.

These guys usually know what they're doing so that's promising.

I just want to see all out effort and hustle tonight. If they're going to continue to call touch fouls on us, let's make them count. If everybody has to go 5 fouls deep, so be it. We need to play like our season is on the line tonight. Go Suns!

Have they already announced the refs? I would be curious to see how the line moves when they do, if they haven't.

Please remind me. Did that involve the Kansas City Kings?
