Ya Toronto wouldn’t do that…I’d jump all over it though. Add 2 more 1sts and maybe.
What we need is for Jeremy to get a job in the front office of another team.

Haha, happy to hear it…and I do want to say that I know I give you a lot of crap, but it’s never personal…I just don’t see what you see in Ayton.

I think the hold up would be draft picks. You’d have probable give 3 picks and swaps too and Ayton would have to agree still.
Still might prefer to trade for Kuzma and see what we can get for Ayton/Mikal or both in the offseason tho.

I look at the team and what I see as our future core is Booker/Bridges…any move I’d make would be to add a #2 or someone who fits around those 2. We need to get Bridges back to being a 3/4 guy.

I thought that was a pretty steep price for Siakim honestly. Trent is making 18 mil and shooting 33% on threes. He's young still though. What I take into account is the rest of the league isn't as down on Ayton as some of us here are. My thought was if you're taking Cam and a pick you're having to make them take Shamet at well. That would require taking someone like Otto Porter back. I like Siakim but I'm not sure he moves the needle much if were giving up Cam and Ayton. Landale and Biyombo can't hold it down against the Pels.

I think our future core is just basically Booker at this point. Love to keep Mikal but I’m perfectly fine shopping him at this point.

I’d see this as a move for next year. You’d have Booker/Bridges/Siakam at the 2-4 and can build the rest of the roster around that.
What don’t you love about Siakam? He’s 28 and putting up 26/8/7 right now. He defends, he’s got size, can play small ball 5. He’s about as good as we can expect to get as Book’s #2. He’s gonna be all-nba this year.
Also Trent is shooting 36% from 3 and is a career 38% shooter.

I wouldn’t keep him out of trade negotiations, but I’m not looking to move him.

Trent also averaging 18pts and legit guy who can get his own points. Him with Booker, Siakim and Bridges, he’d be fucking deadly.

Ya he’d probably be your CP3 replacement as you shift to a Book/Siakam driven offense. Give me a floor spacing 5 that can protect the rim a bit and I’m good.

For me he's a guy who remedies the Suns #1 issue right now which is injuries. He never misses games and is an elite defender. I've seen a lot of people put him in trades in front of Cam Johnson which doesn't make sense to me. Cam doesn't do that well on D and he's always hurt. So mu confusion as to why he's more valuable than Mikal to a lot of people. He's the same age.

I think Cam’s shooting plays anywhere…but if you’re moving Mikal, you better be bringing back a point of attack defender.

Pass on that deal. Ayton and draft picks, no thanks. And Bridges should be nowhere near untouchable.

I still don’t think CamJ, Crowder, Dario, Shamet and 4 1st and 3 swaps for Siakim is that as crazy idea for the raps

They would be dumb to pass it up. 4 draft picks is a lot of capital.

My initial reaction to that proposed trade is negative; it feels like a lot to give up all of Ayton, CamJ, Crowder, and a future 1st. I like Siakam, but are we really any better after that trade? But I guess I'm undervaluing Trent Jr as the other return on the deal. He doesn't really pass or run an offense, but maybe we would rely more on Book and Siakam to do that? And CP3's corpse for a year or so?

Of course what I *really* want is for us to find a way to reacquire my true love, Rubaeo, next year. He still has lots of good years left in him!
