Miscellaneous Stuff From the Weird, Wild, and Wacky and Sometimes Disturbing
Re: Miscellaneous Stuff From the Weird, Wild, and Wacky and Sometimes Disturbing
What is going on with the recent malfunctions in airlines lately? Is it me or does it seem like it's much more than normal?

John Oliver just did a piece on Boeing. Not good.

Another one and then something a little disturbing about the whistleblower.

“Killed himself” in quotes implying that Boeing had him murdered?

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff From the Weird, Wild, and Wacky and Sometimes Disturbing
It's always sad when a whistleblower kills himself right before a trial. Must be something like whistleblower's guilt.

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff From the Weird, Wild, and Wacky and Sometimes Disturbing
Here is a couple more things Boeing related today.

So, I would suggest to boil your water and disinfect your neti pot before using the tap water in it.

And now back to Boeing news...

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff From the Weird, Wild, and Wacky and Sometimes Disturbing
It sounds like Boeing merged with McDonald Douglas and started cost cutting measures. They eliminated some Inspections and let the guys on the line building the aircraft police their own work. That is certainly always a recipe for disaster.

Anything to make more money. Big deal that an occasional section of the plane fails to work or falls off.

We should just have a Boeing thread at this point.

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff From the Weird, Wild, and Wacky and Sometimes Disturbing
Has anyone noticed the talk about the upcoming full eclipse that's going to be crossing the US on April 8th? They are cancelling schools in it's path that day, and apparently Emergency services have been planning for this for the past 2 years, even calling in trauma psychologists for the teams of Emergency workers to help them deal with the tragedy they expect. I'm 50 yrs old and I have never heard of anything tragic that has happened in any of them before. Wtf is going on?
They are worried about a pole shift that could affect the tectonic plates and are worried about the New Madrid fault line too since it sits directly over the path of the eclipse?
