Suns have a boat load of cap room & because of that you should be prepared to have our name linked with every available FA by their agent or the players themselves. It won't mean anything until Coro or someone hears it directly from the FO's mouth.

Ya, I'm not the least bit interested in Ariza if we bring back Tucker and if we don't, I wouldn't pay TA more than $5M per - only after several other options have been vetted.

Comparing paying Ariza to paying Childress and Warrick is a bit silly.

And 7-8 mil is probably the going rate for a guy like Ariza. I'd love to get him at 6. And FWIW, I think I'd rather pay Ariza 8 than Hayward 13. I just don't think he's worth that kind of contract and you're locking yourself into that contract which would be tough to move down the road if need be. You're basically paying a max deal to a really really good 3rd option, an average 2nd option or a really bad 1st option. Is Hayward going to be worth 16 mil a few years from now? Come on...

The Suns aren't going to be afraid to spend this Summer. If they want any of the bigger FAs, they're going to have to overspend to get them. Even for the 2nd tier guys (Hayward, Monroe). I think we come away with at least one of them and then retain our existing guys.

Well thats certainly interesting. Suns acquire Love, sign LeBron and the NBA world explodes. Love is far more likely than LeBron.

Pistons looking to keep Monroe but will consider s&t if the money is too high. Basically he can be had for the max.

Too little of a fish to consider him right now.
True. I just don't think we have any real chance at these big names that are being thrown around. Maybe it's just the pessimist in me though.

League sources tell PBT that Isaiah Thomas is drawing interest from the Pistons, Mavs, Lakers, Heat and Suns.

I love IT2, But how many PGs do we really need? Something's fishy.

We're literally linked to every free agent (except Greg Monroe).
