You mean starting January 1 we can trade 2030? Last year we couldn’t even do the 4 picks/3 swaps everyone was talking about, because the Nets didn’t have enough picks in the right years for us to swap with them.
According to the timeline, yes, they can use 2030 pick in a deal now.

I really like Dinwiddie. I wonder if we could get Dinwiddie for something like Cam Payne and a couple 2nds? Or a protected 1st? Assuming the Nets aren't able to get FVV.

Remember when the Nets leaked this to Shams?
The Phoenix Suns similarly have dangled a package around All-Defensive wing Mikal Bridges and a handful of first-round draft picks, which has not picked up any steam with the Nets, league sources said.
So this isn't the first time it's happened.
