Sad about McRoberts going back to Charlotte, but, if all we need is a 3-point "threat" at 4, Markieff's plenty for a decoy.
Um, what?

Also, McBob is going to Miami.
Yes, I now know - I'm a day sleeper, so am just waking up. Before I went to sleep, I believe it was you who said he'd accepted the MLE from Charlotte.

Far as the Alec Brown statement, you heard me. ;)

Glad he got his, glad we didn't give that much to him.
Slightly worried that free agency is in limbo waiting for others to play the field, but patience is a virtue they say and there's still a long way to go.

Nope, I said Charlotte upped their offer to the MLE. I think this combined w/ the whole Gambo show post thing explains a lot about our disagreements. You don't read my posts, you skim them. :p

Alec Brown will be lucky to make an NBA roster next season. You're crazy on that one.

Wasn't there an article or something about how he was going to play overseas this season but will still play on our summer team in the mean time?

There's a quote from McDo saying that he expected that to happen, yes. Swingy is saying he expects Brown to not only make the roster, but to contribute what Frye contributed last year.

Seeing how Frye practically contributed nothing the 2nd half of the season he wouldn't be wrong! BOOOM!

Nah, I'm just kidding. I really don't even think Alec Brown will play a game for us besides summer league. I actually like Frye and I'm sad to see him go. I hope the best for him in Orlando.

No skimmer's syndrome here - I obviously missed the Gambo stuff (or forgot? It was only the day after the draft, after all), but I read every word and it was just yesterday that you & others were indicating McRoberts was going back to Charlotte for the MLE.

Now - what fucking thread was it in? Want to settle this once and for all, either way.

Alright - here's what you posted, carey in the "SUNS 2014: Free Agency" thread :
"Charlotte just increased their offer to the full MLE per Woj."
Then RW followed it with :
"Sorry, Swing. Feel for you. He was not coming cheap. There goes your F4MP (Fee for Middling Play), or 4Mper. Only that this season it's 6M+ not 4M hahaha.

So I laugh my ass off when I hear either party cry over money in CBA negotiations.

Anyway, solid for the Hornets (Chalotte Hornets feels just right btw)."
That's where the confusion set in - my apologies.

Still, no skimmer's syndrome here - I don't half-ass it like some of the previous guard did regularly with my posts (if you're looking in, you know who you are), to the point of completely ignoring such to prop their arguments.

Good for Frye. I'd love to have him on the Suns for half that price.

Agreed. Wierd offseason so far. We have have got stronger at the wings and backcourt but weaker at the already weak pf. Guess we just have to stay patient...or rush out and give Beasley a contract :D

Well, there goes the longest-tenured Sun.

You have to be happy for Frye. He did the smart thing and took full advantage of the rampant madness. 4/32 is way more than what any of his supporters would have been willing to spend but at the same time, we better be opening our eyes and realizing that this is what above average role players are commanding now.

Anyway, good move by the Magic, at least on the court and the locker room. Dipo, Payton and Vucevic will need all the space they can get and the kids get to be close to a respected veteran.

I wonder if this is somehow related to Goran. If you plan on moving him, you are more open to letting go his decoy, although that offer probably was not going to be 'matched' anyway.

I guess the Suns will make a move for a PF now, but until then, Kieff has been promoted to starter and Marcus-Warren backing up the SF-PF. Warren is the only part of that proposition that really gets me excited, but I am willing to wait and see what happens now. After all we are still in play for the major FAs.

Sucks to see Frye go because of money, though.

with him gone, only dragic remains from that special 2010 team. if i were dragic, i'm hoping to be traded too, even to milwaukee.

I was thinking Milwaukee could be a landing spot for him, but not sure what we'd take back. I don't want Sanders, BTW. Maybe Dragic, Marcus Morris for Illyasova? I don't love Illyasova, but he could be that stretch forward the next few years (his contract is up 15-16). He's just super inconsistent.

I do think Kidd would love Dragic and he and Knight could make for a decent backcourt.

I think you forgot to add Antetokounmpo.

Illyasova makes 8M per too, by the way.

I hate this move for Orlando. Bu the time they are competitve Frye's contract will be an albatras. He isn't worth 8mil to begin with and he is kinda useless playing for a young non contending team.

I have no idea what Orlando is doing this off-season....first Gordon and now this
