Frye and Dragic are still the best pick and roll duo in the league at 1.3pp. However, to call it pick and roll is silly since it's always a pick and pop or rotate out to the 3-point line. Frye rarely ever goes to the basket.

I dislike how easy it is for teams to shut down Dragic at the top of the key. They double hard off the pick and roll and because the other three guys on our team are just camping at the three point lines there is no easy pass. Would be nice if one of those guys would move a bit.

But at what cost to the team as a whole? How many points does Frye give away regular on the other end?

And how fucking often do we see ANYTHING from him outside of the 1st Q?

We were playing a zone defense on that possession. I don't think I've seen us go to that this season.

Edit: I guess it could have just been Frye not guarding anyone while wandering around in the key. It confused me.

You do have to love how the Twins are always there when things get physical. Green was actually the first in there.

I'm catching LP with Clips crew on the voice - they're squawking about P.J Tucker punching Griffin, yet all I'm seeing is Blake Griffin's attempted left hook! Of course Lawler and whatever fucking toadie who's there keep saying "oh, I really don't see anything that Blake did that is suspendable".

Fucking homers.....

I wish they wouldn't dig themselves such big holes to climb out of but it is nice to see them fight till the end.

Damn, I'm glad I stopped watching after the 1st. (Though honestly I would've enjoyed seeing PJ scrap with Griffin.)

Wasn't much - Griffin's a little bitch, though.

What a rough back-to-back. Offense-minded power forwards sure do eat us up. Griffin, Love, even David Lee. Glad to see them show some fight but we need more if we want to go to the postseason.

At least this team never quits fighting. Literally. ;)

Yeah, loved how the Clipper broadcasters went on and on about Tucker's "punch" to Griffin's face. C'mon, it looked pretty obvious to me that it was an open handed push. Tucker just wanted Griffin off of him.

I'm not too worried about the outcome this year. I'm just enjoying the ride. This team has already way exceeded expectations and then some. I'm really fine either way if we make the playoffs or not.

That's my thoughts on this season exactly. Yes this team is flawed but it's well coached, fights hard and generally has likeable players on it. It's been a long time since we've been able to say that.

I agree 100% with this. I don't actively want to miss the playoffs for some slim chance at the lottery. But I also don't think it will be a catastrophe if we miss them. I'd rather make it than not, because it'll give a lot of our young guys some good reps and experience. But I'd rather, say, play Alex Len and the other young guys more even if it meant that we have a greater chance of not making it. Our time to really shine is in 1-2 years.

It would be great to fight to the end, just miss the playoffs and win the lottery. The Suns would then also get the Minnesota pick, because they would be bumped to 14, but there might be a better chance that Kim Jong-un gets at least one dissenting vote in his next election than the Suns winning the lottery from the 14th position.

I don't like when players fight, but I have to admit, I liked seeing Blake Griffin get taken down and popped by Tucker. I like having one or two tough SoBs on our roster. Dragic has the spitfire, too. I don't think this is a team that will get pushed around by bullies in a potential playoff series, though it'd be a stretch to call us a "tough" team, either. Just a confident, no-nonsense one.
