He's very very useful. He's basically doing what Cam J did but better.

We got the Xanax version of him or something. Super even keel and doesn't show much emotion. He got knocked down in mid air last game and just got up and calmly walked to the FT line.

He's starting but not playing more minutes nor putting great numbers (he's averaging 5.6pts, 4.3rbs in 24mpg)

Yeah, I think the hype and excitement for him has kinda gone off the rails based on his actual production. Portland has to root for something I guess.

Let's mentally prepare for the fact that somebody is going to say something in this thread about Ayton or Nurkic that you don't agree with, and that's okay. You don't necessarily have to react / reply to it, or defend your guy, or call the other person a scruffy-looking nerf herder. That goes for both sides. Jeremy, your boy is probably going to get dissed in this thread, and his mistakes will be pointed out with enthusiasm, and generally there's going to be an anti-DA vibe in this thread, and I hope you can just let some of that go without feeling the need to write a ton of replies arguing with everyone in DA's defense. And other folks, there's no need to excessively bash Jeremy or make it personal if Ayton has a rough night tonight, or DomiNurkic goes off for 30 and 10, or whatever. Let's try to keep it civil.

I don't think there's any reason to boo him, and he was a central figure in one of the greatest plays in Suns history (in my opinion) and a key player in a finals run. It just didn't work out and there's probably some blame to find on both ends. We got a good return on him, he hasn't really bad-mouthed the organization... to me it's all good.

As much as I enjoy a little Ayton failure, I have been just as happy with his successes in his career. There’s no need to be one way about it.
