Not the best win of the season but a W is a W. Talent ultimately won out. Grizz were the ones hanging tough tonight but missed enough shots for us to pull away a bit in the 3rd and hold onto the lead. Book seemed to loosen up a bit towards the end of the first half and looked better in the second half offensively. He was more aggressive and was back playing on the ball as the game progressed. Nurk with another solid game but also struggled in the paint with JJJ's and Biz' length. It always looks like he's getting fouled/raked in the paint but doesn't get a lot of calls. Maybe he's just flailing and the refs aren't buying it? It's kind of fun to watch but I also hope it doesn't become an annoying habit of his. He needs to focus on finishing. But he plays hard and makes his presence felt when he's out there. If the 3s start falling he'll reach another level, they just need to be the right 3s at the right time.

Felt like a quiet night for KD even tho he was 10-14 for 27pts. Wish we could hide him a bit on defense to save him but he's going to have to guard some of the bigger guys once in a while. Was switched onto Jokic a few times vs Denver and banged with JJJ and Biz some last night. That's the wear and tear that hurts over the course of a season.

Okogie had 3 steals but probably could've been credited with like 3 more. He was everywhere on both ends and probably isnt getting enough attention around the league for his defense. If he could just get some offense going, he'd be very tough to take off the floor. Love when he attacks the basket but he's gotta make his FTs. Goodwin, Little, KBD and Eubanks had their moments and Eubanks closed the game when Nurk fouled out.

JJJ gave us all we could handle, Bane came on in the 2nd half but that was all they had going. Didn't love how we handled the press late in the game so that's something to work on. Should've closed out stronger instead of just trying to run the clock out.

JJJ was so good in this game. Crazy that he has now become clearly the better player than Ayton. I would not have predicted that a few years ago.
