I was on a different board at the time but the Jefferies love was pretty unanimous.

The first draft I remember was the Nash draft. I remember watching the McDonald’s all-american game with a friend and wanting Jermaine O’Neal…I had never heard of Nash…I believe I was 9 years old.

We passed on Murray to get Bender
We passed on Fox to get Josh Jackson
We traded Bogie for Chriss.

All in the name of we supposedly had that position filled.

Don’t forget that a lot of other teams also passed on Haliburton. It wasn’t just us. They’re fans are probably having the same argument.

Thank goodness the Warriors weren’t smart enough to take Hali and took Wiseman instead…They had a perfect opportunity to draft their Duncan with Robinson hurt and blew it thankfully
