I don't think we need any more proof that it's likely to happen, but it's going to be a horrendous look if (when) the Suns let the Lakers role players shoot well from 3-point range in this game.

I hate the term "must-win," but a win here would be an important step for us. And another crushing loss would feel like a nail in the coffin. I hope the guys show up and give their best effort tonight.
I can’t escape the death imagery.

The draft is like a safety net for mismanaged teams. If you suck for a lot of years, you get a lot of high draft picks to turn things around. But we came into this season with so much confidence in our acrobatics that we sold all our safety equipment. And now we’re plummeting to the ground.

If this blows up like it potentially can, the league is going to have to step in and make sure other teams can’t do this to themselves. They will create a stricter “Ishbia Rule” to replace the Stepien Rule, and the name Ishbia will become synonymous with hubristic self-destruction.
I was typing a reply when you edited the Ishbia part... LOL I was just gonna say that Ishbia just came in throwing gas on the fire. You're 100% right about a rule being created at some point. We're going to be bad for a VERY long time if we don't snap out of this crap.

We only owe 3 more picks…2025, 2027, and 2029.

Ishbia and Stepien are at opposite ends of the owner spectrum.

Swaps also kill the safety net. So, six more.

If we could just keep our foot on the gas the whole 48, we'd win out our remaining games.

It's a bad sign that I'm worried they'll build too large of a lead early in the game.

Sloppy, stagnant start to the second, as usual.

Start of the 2nd quarter has been nearly as big of a problem as the 4th recently.
