It seems dumb to me to give up assets for Bridges when he'd be certain to leave in free agency in the summer. We couldn't go over the cap to sign him because we're over the apron and don't have his Bird rights.

A guy not even in the rotation and 2nd round picks hardly qualify as assets.

We’re only getting him, if we get him, for three months. That doesn’t warrant a lot, asset-wise.

In for a penny, in for a pound. Seems that's the Suns mentality and anything can happen in the offseason. Maybe another team doesn't want to commit money/years to him and he re-signs for the minimum on a "prove it" deal. Not likely, but possible.

Sounds like Chuck has been reading mine and Mori’s posts. I was surprised he didn’t mention Majerle (and Manning) coming off the bench in ‘95.

I agree with everything he said about the Suns—needing a point guard, needing another big, and Beal coming off the bench.
