It’s not just the no trade clause. Who would want him at that salary and injury history is the question. Bulls are resigned to starting the season with LaVine…
Ya we’d be stuck trading him for garbage…there’s no ideal trade partner out there…is there an overpaid big wing somewhere where Beal would want to play?
Starting point guard huh… does that mean Grayson is on the block …
Grayson can flourish off the bench. No idea why this makes Grayson trade bait.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton
If bud can get Beal to come off the bench he’s worth every penny he’s paid as the head coach.
Might even start Dunn if that can happen. And let Nurk try to take a couple of threes.
Unless Dunn learns to shoot in the next three months, we’d basically be playing with four men on offense.

It doesn’t. I think there is tremendous roster imbalance and he’s actually our most tradable asset. I really don’t want 96 minutes of our 2/3 positions to be played by four guys between 6’3 and 6’5.
PG: Tyus Jones, Monte Morris, Collin Gillespie
SG: Bradley Beal, Grayson Allen, Damian Lee
SF: Devin Booker, Royce O’Neale, Josh Okogie
PF: Kevin Durant, Bol Bol, Ryan Dunn
C: Jusuf Nurkic, Mason Plumlee, Oso Ighodora
I’ll leave Little off for now as I think he’s just trade bait. Jalen Bridges on a 2-way as well.
I would let Booker stay at (return to) his natural SG position, and put Beal at SF.
Finally, we are doing what I predicted last July (before we salary dumped Payne)…putting an actual point guard in the starting lineup and moving Beal or Booker to SF.
"I'm a Deandre Ayton guy."--Al McCoy, September 21, 2022.
Yes…but you’d need to add a lot more salary. Hunter and Capela?
I would probably do that.
I would readily ditch Beal for a rim running 5 and good sized wing, but I think if you acquire Capela you gotta send out Nurk in a separate deal to acquire one more wing/scorer. Either way, this team has too much redundancy paired with a glaring weakness (defensive minded 3-4) for the roster to be a finished product. I’d be surprised if we didn’t move one of Beal, Allen, Nurk by the trade deadline.

Could the Suns now trade Beal to Miami for Butler?
