He still doesn't look comfortable as the 3rd wheel, not many can go from former 30ppg first option to 3rd option role guy.

Suns seemed like they were in cruise control in the first half and still come out with a lead. Such a different team offensively.

We can't seem to stop anyone on the perimeter and we're giving up too many offensive rebounds. Just doesn't seem like boxing out has been emphasized at all because we've been awful at it.

Bud is playing with a lot of different lineups but you get the feeling he's starting Beal out of necessity, then giving him a bulk of the minutes with the 2nd unit where he can be the primary option. Beal was doing too much tonight tho ISOing and the ball movement stopped. Morris was out there with him but we barely ran any offense. When the starters came back, Beal sat and Royce took his place. Closed out the 2nd qtr with Beal, Book, Royce, Dunn and Oso.

Bud tried Nurk and Oso in the frontcourt for a bit which has some potential if Nurk's 3 is working. If Oso can give us minutes at the 4 it'll help a lot with depth and he can give us more of an advantage there rather than being undersized and overpowered as a 5.

Generally, everyone looks good. Book is sharp and the 3pt shot is there. Same with KD. Nurk looks really good for it being his first game this year. The ball movement early in the game was beautiful, made the Lakers' defense work hard and led to good shots but fell off bit as the game went on. I suspect Grayson will take Morris' minutes when he gets back but there's not a lot of minutes left over either way.
