Am I the only one getting tired of all the jersey changes? Pretty soon they’re going to have homages to homages for jerseys. 🤦🏻‍♂️

For the Suns I'd be happy with purple/white home/road uniforms (with maybe an identical orange or black alternate) and a throwback Thursdays uniform.

It's an even bigger problem in MLB with special uniforms and hats for different occasions. It's just a money grab that just dilutes the strength of your brand.

No I hate it. What I hate the most is when we get a truly great jersey that stays for just 1 year. Give me the Black Valley jersey and the purple sunburst every year and then do whatever you want with the other jerseys.

I don't devote much energy to jerseys, but those "The Valley" city jerseys look pretty blah to me. And in general I agree with all the sentiment complaining about the proliferation of short-lived special jerseys. Just have 2-3 for the season and that's it.

This proliferation of jerseys is reducing any desire to purchase one.

Now wearing one is like, “Remember that one year, when we had this jersey?” Most people probably don’t.

Should've just kept the Valley jerseys. Easily the best thing they've ever created. Ever.

Yeah, why would you waste money on something that's not going to even last 6 months?

On the other hand, why buy another jersey if it looks just like one I already have?

I wonder what % of jerseys are sold to collectors. I bet there are a few people out there who are trying to collect every KD jersey (for example) and don't mind buying a new one every season.

Not counting College, USA basketball, and All-Star game jerseys.

What is remarkable is that most of them suck (for my personal taste, obviously). I only love #10, #15 and #16. Many times I've thought that they should just make the 90's jersey the default again. Some franchises should have never mess with their iconic looks, like BOS, CHI, LAL, ORL, PHX, SAS (and maybe IND and CHA) should have kept their jerseys from the 90's (collar shape included) and just added some alternatives and throwbacks each season.

I guess they think they get more sales with all the changing jerseys every year. But I feel way less motivated to buy Suns logoed apparel if it isn't even going to be the team's design for more than one year. And many of these designs just flat out aren't very good.

I wish we'd just stay with the classic like #10. If I had to pick one, that would be the one.

Give me the 1990s jersey (#15) any day. #10 is before my time and I don't have much nostalgia for it. I do prefer it over most of the other newer ones, though.

I don’t hate 10, but I also have no nostalgia with it so it just seems kinda boring to me. 15/16 are far and away the best jerseys imo.

#10 represents the Suns first run to the Finals and the famous Game 5 in the Garden. It will always trump the 2nd run whether you were there for it or not.
