Bahahaha I thought the same thing watching the game. Funny enough there’s multiple times during the game the guy was all over the floor and was extremely gassed by the second quarter. The announcer came on and said it’s going to take him a couple games to be game ready…. Um that’s what the offseason was for you fat slob.

I was told once that you will never be a good coach, without getting your backside handed to you at least once. I think they meant that it's the impetus to improving your craft. Probably could go for any skill or profession, imo.

We are facing a potentially tough stretch but nothing like some stuff to make me smile on the timeline

That last play in the Mavs game looks like a lot of confusion with Luka and Grimes. Luka's anticipating a screen on Grimes where he'll switch, so they're both overplaying the passing lane and Collins just sidesteps inside to the basket for the dunk. At :03-:04 seconds, neither of them are guarding anyone. Of course, Luka seems to fall asleep with his back completely to the ballhandler and doesn't even see Clarkson pass the ball. And not sure why Lively is guarding the corner shooter, if anything stick Luka there.

The offense struggles when you are missing main pieces or they are playing injured or sick. If you just took the games where the team is healthy, it probably looks a bit different. It's still a small sample size.
