I still don't understand how like 7 times a game there are defensive breakdowns where opposing players just walk to the basket and you get the usual KD looking around confused with his hands up going "what happened?"

Kevin Durant is such a bad passer on the move. Holy cow.

Is the defense as bad in person as it is on tv?

Because we haven't got our shit kicked in yet and managed to tie at the half against an under .500 team? The bar is so low. Will there ever be a point in time where we have a good lead on any teams? I wish I shared your optimism Split.

What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

I feel like I’ve mostly seen, screen(Indy traps) hit the roller and play 4 on 3 out of the roll

I think it’s just easy to spot the bad when we have been playing so poorly…probably helps that I haven’t been watching. I caught the Christmas game and this is the first one I’ve watched since.

OK maybe my expectations are just lowered, but I actually think we're playing pretty well (relatively speaking) tonight. The defense isn't great, especially early in the game. Gave away several uncontested layups and 3s. But I like our offensive flow, we're passing more, KD isn't bringing the ball up as much, we are mostly getting decent shots. Dunn giving us some good minutes in the 1st, Bol Bol making an appearance and playing pretty well I thought. Beal seems frisky, Big 3 generally playing well out there. I have found them way more watchable this game than the usual typical 2024-25 Suns performance.

Feels like we're letting go of the rope here in the middle of the 3rd.

Never mind; we're letting the game slip away from us here in the 3rd, which feels typical for this team.

This made me laugh, at least. The Pacers jerseys do look a little ... body-fluid-y.

Horrible 3rd quarter. Feels like we gave the game away there. It isn't over yet, but it would take an immense effort in the 4th to overcome the hole we just put ourselves into. All the good body language and energy from the 1st half seems completely gone now.

Good thing “immense effort” is what we’re known for.
