Betting on individual stats should be banned. The easiest way to get rid of this kind of manipulation.
Don't even start me on soccer yellow or red cards.
Effective business models can't be banned. They can pay for more legislators than you can.

All-Star reserves announced. Booker was not selected. But ... James Harden was? Wow.

Best news. Hope this pisses him off. Hope it “bothers” him.

I think Lamelo should've made it.

Maxey is more deserving than Ball.

Sabonis should've been selected over Sengun. It's possible the coaches are in their feelings a bit over Mike Brown being fired and penalized the Kings players for it.

Every other selection is fine by me. We're splitting hairs with the fringe guys like Herro and Harden.

Lamelo was the leading vote getter by fans. Give the fans what they want. Media and coaches don't seem to like him for some reason.

Well then we're arguing different points.

A ref just about blew (literally) the end of the Houston/Memphis game when he blew the whistle for a timeout as the Grizzlies were going in for an uncontested dunk. But the Grizzlies coach never asked for a timeout and was instead imploring his team to attack. Luckily for the ref, JJJ was fouled and made two FTs and the Rockets couldn't score on the other end for a one point Memphis victory.

I'd obviously send Nurk and a 1st for Toppin but I don't know how that helps the Pacers financially. He's got less years than Toppin and I think they could use a big rebounding center like Nurk. Plus they could still use Turner as a PF like they've tried in the past. Maybe they bite. Toppin has some drawbacks but a super athletic PF who can knock down a jumper, maybe play some smallball 5? No brainer for me.

Are their salaries close enough to work under the cap rules?

Trade Nurk and a first for Obi.
Beal and a first for Butler.
Pick up CP3 if Fox goes to SA and he is waived, or trade Royce for CP3.

Now we got some assholes.

Tyus/CP3
Book/Allen
Butler/Dunn
KD/Toppin
Richards/Toppin

Absolutely be down to trade Nurk and 1st for Obi. Been wanting to trade for him for a while, he’d be great on this team. I do remember reading a thread on the pacers subreddit about how he was a bad small ball 5 tho but that was for last season. No idea if he has had more success doing it this year.

Obi is able to play our back up PF minutes while also being able to play next to Durant is huge enough tho. Lineup versatility is severely lacking with is roster right now.

Pacers wouldn’t do Nurk + 1st for Obi but I know they had their eye on Cam Johnson tho, that’s probably how we could get it done.

Pacers: Cam J, Sharpe or Clowney

Nets: Nurk, Isiah Jackson, Jarace Walker, 1st from us, 1st from Pacers and 2nd round picks from pacers

Suns: Obi Toppin, James Johnson.

James Johnson might be low key great enforcer for us. He wouldn’t play but when teams punk us, he would definitely jump off the bench and put an end to that shit. He’s a crazy person but also has multiple black belts. No is stepping up to him, dawg. Haha
