Doesn't matter. The Suns should have won, their season is basically on the line and they let two very winnable games go away. To me this has been the last nail in the coffin and why now I am saying trade Durant.
Season on the line??? We’re 2.5 games back from 6th place. The difference of record between 4-10 is less than 5 games. Can we chill???
At some point you have to show your true colors. This was a golden opportunity to make a push in light of a hard schedule ahead. Yet they lost TWICE to a team that was winning 1/3 of games. We'd be 7th with one game differential behind 6th (LAC). Instead we are tied with 11st SAC. At a certain point enough has to be enough.
They've won 9 out of the last 10. Tied for the hottest team in the league.
So what. At least split the games.
You know it that was close to happening, right?

Ya the west(outside the top 4) isn’t that good this year. Wouldn’t be that hard to get to 5 or 6
Wouldn't be that hard it we didn't keep losing to POR, CHA, NOP or BRY. But we are just not reliable. To these Suns getting out of the play in is crazy hard. Maybe the even are left out of the top10 in the West.
You’re right, it is for the current suns..that’s why we want to shake up the team.

So do I. It's direction where we might not agree. I don't but into Durant anymore. Just want him gone. To the highest bidder.

I mean I’d like to blow it all the way up, but not sure that’s an option. Doesn’t make a lot of sense if Houston won’t play ball. Getting some assets while switching up the makeup of the team is fine to me. Point is we are still within range to get a top 6 seed if we can get the roster right. Blowing it up and dropping into the lottery just helps Houston.

We need to do what's best for us moving forward. That might include taking a perceived step back this season (which is lost anyway, at least in my opinion) and gather assets to build the next iteration with Booker. Unless by blowing it up you mean also moving on from Booker, which I don't want.

At this point I don't even see the point in getting into the top 6 just to win a game or two if not get swept out in the first round. I would just as soon put this season out of it's misery sooner rather than later. Make what trades you can now and over the summer and hope for the best next year.

Could they be a play in team when it’s all said and done?
If the season ends with the Blazers at 10 and us at 11, or with the Blazers beating us in the playin, I hope everyone will let Jeremy have his moment.

I will never be happy that we destroyed our team by trading away Deandre Ayton.

Right now the Blazers might be the better team. They're 4 games back of us, but they're playing much better, and we're on a downward trend. I think the only West teams that are clearly worse than us are the Pelicans and the Jazz. That's pretty pathetic.

Because Ayton will at best be the 3rd most important player on a play-in team? Sure, congrats.

After we traded him for the 8th most important player on a team that misses the play-in or loses to them? I think he wins that one.
