Is this rock bottom?

I sure hope so! It can't get much worse, can it?!

Ask again in June.

We’re over an active volcano. There is no rock bottom below us, only magma and a very long way to the bottom of that.

We’re going to fire James Jones just to hire Isaiah Thomas, aren’t we? We need a Sam Presti/Danny Ainge/Bob Myers general manager to right this ship. I just have no confidence in our current front office to make the best decisions for this franchise moving forward.

It 100% can get worse - injuries (especially to KD), even less effort/motivation as it dawns more on the players that this team is going nowhere, or like Jones the bet you took on yourself to play here has failed badly.
I don’t want to be a Debbie Downer but there is sadly a lot of scope for worse.

Absolutely agree. Rock bottom is when KD tears his ACL in about a month. Then we are well and truly effed. The rest of the season is probably going to be rough even if we don't have a bad injury, given the dark cloud over the team and how badly we've played all year.

Ehhh not much he's gonna let out. Said they never approached Beal about waiving the NTC, wouldn't address the KD stuff, said injuries have played a part in the Big 3 not performing well but also cites general inconsistency. Said they lost a wing in Okogie and replaced that with Martin and Micic gives them another ballhandler but curiously said the trade addressed positions of need(!?!?!).

Yup, he’s canned at the end of the year…. Addressed issues, not even close bud.

Trading a center for two guards is addressing positions of need?

Or is it, “This guy may or may not actually make the rotation, but he does have one skill otherwise lacking, so that’s fulfilling a need”?

KD's spent a lot of time on social media today. Good to see where his head is at.

He’s always been this way. He’s safely moved into one of my most disliked players in the NBA. He’s insufferable.

EVERYONE is on social media. Why does it matter if he's on social media? What makes if different for him?

Criticize him when he's on the court or does something terrible in society. Criticizing social media that is not at all offensive is such a cornball take.

EVERYONE is on social media. Not EVERYONE is an asshole on social media, even though it sometimes seems that way.

That position of need line was concerning (hopefully just spinning a line rather than something he actually believes). Likewise with putting the lack of success down to big 3 injuries. We’ve seen enough when they are healthy to know it’s not working and also - it’s ridiculous to pin all your hopes on those 3 players being healthy!!!
