Well now we’ve solved the issue. We just need to stop having opponents, and we will stop losing.

Our best hope for the future is a labor dispute and work stoppage.

Update: I think with the Kyrie injury, the path got a little easier to make the play-in…of course that probably just means Portland gets the 10th spot. Still I will update to make 39 wins the target instead of 41. Not that we are gonna reach that anyways haha.

Portland makes the playoffs and then Chauncey gets an extension. This is the way.

Now I see the team’s clever strategy. Lower expectations so much that making the play in will be considered a cause for celebration. It’s the only way they can give us something to celebrate. Now that I think about it, I can hardly blame them.

I’m still not going to watch them.

We'd still lose in the play-in.

We could go 5 v 0 and they'd still find a way to turn the ball over for a dunk

We are at 11th place with a 30-34 record.
The 10th place Mavs have a 32-33 record.

We may end up getting 10th just by virtue of the fact that their entire team has become cursed and they literally can't dress enough players to fill out a roster. But then in the play-in game we'd probably get beat by SAC or whomever. And even if we were to win, has there ever been a team more guaranteed to get swept in the 1st round than we would be if we played vs OKC? It'd be a complete joke. They'd be delighted to play a pathetic opponent like us.

You guys have nothing to worry about. That's not happening. You can't go far with bad defense, without rebounding the ball, and many horrible turnovers.

It is conceivable (though I wouldn't bet on it) that we beat SAC in the 9-10 game, and then LAC in the second play-in game. But then the OKC meat grinder awaits. I think honestly OKC would smoke us even if Shai were out for the whole series. They are that much better.
