Suns offense is out of sync, Book is thrown off by the physical play and doubling. We don't seem to be able to match up with Randle. Still playing hard but we need to find some spacing and free up Book in the 2nd half.

Book 0-5 at halftime. Wolves clearly bothering him with their defense. Book seems easier to take out of the game than KD when a defense really wants to clamp down on him.

On the bright side, Gillespie has 7 points on 3-4 shooting along with 3 ast. Royce O'Neale has 12, all of which come from his four 3s.

I feel like a KD for Randle-and-parts trade is in play this summer, so it's interesting to watch him against us. I don't really like him, but in certain matchups (e.g. against us) he looks good, aggressive, strong. 16/5/6 at the half for him.

I guess maybe Booker needs more practice against double teams in the offseason pickup games.

They're just bullying Booker.

Welp....that's not how you want to start the 2nd half. This is why Book isn't a real option as a primary ballhandler.

Looks like Ighodaro has moved up ahead of Plumlee on the depth chart.

The thing is, if a good opposing team actually strategizes against us, it is easy to beat us. Pressure Book and KD, especially Book. They will try to go 1-on-1 and they'll turn it over, or else they'll chuck up a bad shot. And on the other end, we are a pretty poor defensive team, so you'll get plenty of good looks. Easy peasy.

Don't put KD back in this one. Down 21 with 8:44 left. Book has 5 big points. Wolves getting everything they want and just beating us up. Only real bright spot is Collin Gillespie who has 17 big points on 7-8 shooting.

I still like the way we're playing for the most part. We're flat tonight, shots aren't falling and the Wolves really play us tough. They just have our number and we're obviously missing some pieces still but the effort is there and we just look better with CG, Dunn and Oso out there.

Remember how the Suns swept the Timberwolves during the regular season last year?

Rough loss; it is what it is. Gillespie was great, Royce hit a lot of 3s. Wolves are a really bad matchup for us; there's a reason they swept our playoff series. On to the next.
