This is a franchise crippling trade. We got essentially the worst of all rumored trades. We got not a single young player back with any kind of hope or promise. We got only one middling draft pick back. Houston didn't have to give up Jabari or Whitmore or Sheppard.

Absolutely pathetic negotiating from the Suns FO. They got completely hustled here. They should all resign in embarrassment.

I hope you guys realize that we are now going to be a really, really bad team through at least 2032. We are completely fucked now.

I don’t know that I’d call that 10th pick middling…it’s decent. I think this is a low value outcome, but honestly at best we were hoping for 1 more guy? Like Cam Whitmore turns this from franchise crippling to good value?

The franchise crippling trades already happened…this actually does set us up better than keeping Durant…it’s not great, I don’t like it that much, but it’s far from franchise crippling…

And apparently all Miami was offering was Wiggins, 20 and salary…you gotta remember that those rumored trades were almost certainly not true.
