He's 30 years old, just finished winning the Euroleauge and was MVP. His contract is guaranteed. There's no reason for him or the Suns to take a risk with him in SL.

I haven’t made my way through the suns offseason thread yet so I’ll ask here … are we excited about NHD?

I don't know anything about him but it from what I read, it seems like a sneaky good move. Sounds like he could be a very useful player and maybe even start at the PF position. Like somebody else said, this year's Yabusele.

I think it's a very good move given the limitations they've created for themselves. I expect him to be an every night rotation player.

Big difference in the makeup of this year's summer league team. Not talking about Dunn playing (though he shouldn't imo) but specifically there aren't a lot of retreads. There's some older college guys like Khalif Battle or Brandon Angel but everyone besides Ryan, Oso, and Yuri Collins is a rookie.

Why shouldn’t Dunn play?

Dunn needs all the live reps he can get.

I agree…I hope he’s the featured player of summer league…well him and Maluach…with some Fleming on the side.

I'm most curious to see how the coaches handle our guards. Our guards didn't do very well initiating the offence last summer, and I blamed it on the players at the time. I shouldn't have been so surprised when that problem followed us into the regular season. This year, I'm looking to see if the team can get the ball to our finishers in the right spots. Can we run plays, attack to create, move without the ball, etc?

I'm surprising my oldest son and taking him to the Summer League on Monday the 14th. He really wanted to see Cooper Flagg and he loves the Celtics, and I wanted to see the Suns, and that was the only day I think all 3 teams were playing. But I'm excited to see our group.
