I guess the international press didn’t have many questions for rookie head coach Ott.

You think the Chinese kids were happy to see Book and the gang?

This is cool. Suns past and present collide and inspire.

CNN is covering the China games in a pretty big way. Book is very popular with the Chinese fans. Shawn Marion even appears in a broadcast bit that you can watch in the article.
Incredible. I posted everything game related in the game thread.
For me, the evening started with a private reception hosted by the Nets. Owner Joe Tsai wasn't there but a lot of the A-listers from Hong Kong were there, I talked with a few of the folks that I actually knew. Spent most of the time with my wife and the friends who invited me. The experience was a bit overboard -- truffle pasta with so much truffle that you couldn't really see the pasta -- but it was fun. No former players, unfortunately.
We moved up to the skybox afterwards. We started off in an upper skybox before we were offered the chance to move down to a lower skybox. Both offered great views, one showing the overall flow of the game, the other a closer look. We were right behind the Suns' basket in the second half.
There were many, many more Suns fans than Nets fans. Booker was by far the biggest draw. Second most popular Suns jersey was...Durant. But I think the Suns can grow a fan base here.
Overall, I am just glad to have good friends -- you couldn't buy these tix. Just really grateful.

Oh, forgot the funniest part. Everyone, including the Nets box, was booing the Nets when they were trying to win the game. Everyone wanted overtime.
