Yeah, I watched it happen last night. Gruesome when you see his indented knee. Had to be wheeled off the court. Sad as it was near the end of the game too. Just a freak thing as he went for a wide open dunk.

That's an awful injury for Moody. He's young (23 I think) and has been one of the few young players who have played well for the creaky old Warriors. This has been a bit of a sad season for Golden State: their supposed core of Curry, Butler, and Draymond has shown that despite that really nice run to end last season, they aren't capable of putting together a full regular season of elite level play. And most of their young guys aren't panning out. That team is a bit like the Suns of the past few years where they went "all-in" on a chance to contend, and now it hasn't worked out, and now the cupboard is bare. Only their Devin Booker (Curry) is 38 years old. They may be headed for a blow-up or long rebuild.

I wonder if this will lessen the value of first rounders even more?

Starting next season, rookies will be assigned to teams by the league front office.

Just watched the end of the Rockets/Wolves game. Durant fouled with Rockets down 2 with seconds left. He had been 10-10 from the FT line for the game. First shot...boink...way short. Wolves win. You hate to see it.
