So I guess regular ol' dinosaurs weren't scary enough so they needed to create a hybrid? LMAO. Movie looks like they're reaching.

Came back from watching Dumb and Dumber To tonight with my wife for my birthday...I wasn't drunk or high enough to appreciate the movie I guess, Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels waited too long in between to create another movie...The movie wasn't really funny and came off pretty corny/cheesy to me, I feel like they were trying too hard.

SPOILERS.
I liked Interstellar but some of the silly things in the plot really bothered me. Why did they have to make Anne Hathaway's scientist character so stupid? She wants to go to some planet because her loverboy is there? And then when Matt McC calls her out on that, she defends her choice by saying that love transcends 5 dimensions? Ughhhhh.
Also, NASA has a secret base and they urgently need a good pilot, but they never reach out to Matt McC even though he lives nearby? He has to stumble upon it himself? And then when he does, they immediately hire him? WTF.
Also, why does Matt Damon need to be evil? He's stuck on a planet for 20 years. They save him. Shouldn't he be beyond grateful? Why would he turn around and try to kill them? That makes absolutely no sense. Just stick with them and go back! And why would such a well trained astronaut try to manually dock a space shuttle on a station when he surely must know that he won't be able to do that successfully? An all-around ridiculous character in the end.
Despite all of the above and more, it was a beautiful and fun movie. If I turn off my brain, I enjoyed it a lot. But unlike several other Nolan films like Memento and Inception, I found that thinking about / analyzing the movie afterward made me like it less rather than more.

Will Smith - Deadshot
Jai Courtney - Boomerang
Tom Hardy - Rick Flagg
Margot Robbie - Harley Quinn
Jared Leto - The Joker
I think Leto has the potential to be a suitable replacement for Heath Ledger. (Who'd have thought we'd have been saying such a thing before Dark Knight came out . . . !)
The actress that plays Waller on Arrow is great but she probably won't get a shot, I'm sure they'll try to tab another big name for the role. Kind of a bummer since Arrow has already teased Harley Quinn, it would be cool if DC was a little more integrated like Marvel is - especially since it's starting to look like SHIELD is going to lead into the Inhumans movie.

I can't believe they are considering Oprah for Waller. It's so absurd I desperately want it to happen.

Yeah, she's a pretty horrible actress. I like Viola Davis or Octavia Spencer as a better choice.
The Suicide Squad cast is absolutely crazy. I mean that would be a really great cast for any movie.
I would totally be on board with Oprah. I don't think she is a bad actress, she did get nominated for an Oscar for The Color Purple. Plus she literally one of most influential women in the world. She's basically Amanda Waller in real life lol.

You know who would be cool? Angela Bassett. She is totally fierce and hasn't been in much lately. Unless we are going for the old school plump Waller. Then Spencer with her mean ass side-eye.

I'd be okay with that. I always think of chocolate pie when I see Octavia though LOL.
New Terminator trailer is out BTW. Actually looks pretty cool.
