If he leaves to go to Houston that would be one of the weirdest career paths of all time. Drafted by Phoenix, Traded to Houston, leaves Houston to re-sign with Phoenix, then leaves Phoenix to re-sign with Houston.
Ultimately I always believed he would "test" the market. Its the smart thing to do to get the best deal.

Right. Unless we give him a max offer the day he opts out, he would be stupid to not test the market. As much as we love our Suns, there could be some really great opportunities out there for him, and to not even explore them would be limiting.
That said, the Suns fan in me hopes he doesn't and signs here for a reasonable deal about which both sides are excited.

The Lakers will offer him a ton. They need a quality FA to sign in LA just to prove to their fans that Kobe is not the cancer others say he is.

Ah, bullshit article - the vultures are circling, is all. Pure speculation.
My bet is Thomas is gone by the February deadline and Dragic gets an identical deal to Bledsoe to stay here.

Goran drops the bomb.
No, unnamed "sources" drop the bomb. The last word from Goran is still that he intends to sign a new contract with the Suns.

Van Gundy and Caldwell-Pope response to Markieff.
"Caldwell-Pope got it and you know he doesn't have any heart, so we knew he was going to miss," Morris said.
Van Gundy wasn't going to let such an insult slide.
"I'm not quite sure - maybe he knows - I'm not quite sure what Markieff Morris has accomplished in the league that gets him to the point of mouthing off," Van Gundy said after today's practice. "I mean, I don't like the mouthing off anyway.
"It seems to me you should at least participate in a playoff game before you do. But maybe not, maybe that's not the standard anymore."
The verbal volleys probably are because the two had to be separated after getting chest-to-chest to trash talk in the second quarter.
"A lot of emotions were running," Caldwell-Pope said. "We exchanged a few words with each other. So obviously, out of frustration, he said that."

I have never been a fan of trash talking really, but it is always fun to hear and watch.

That is a very professional response.

So, did Caldwell-Pope participate in a playoff series that I and the rest of the NBA world may have overlooked?

KCP didn't talk trash publicly.

Right. And he wasn't the one that made that playoff comment.

The kid is actually pretty funny:
Caldwell-Pope was asked if he would remember the words when the Pistons face the Suns at Phoenix next month.
"I'll keep it at heart," Caldwell-Pope said.

Oops, my bad - didn't catch that Stan Van Gundy said it.
Still, maybe he should get the Pistons to the playoffs himself before popping off about it.....

several spam posts. Not that big of deal. I can't remember, but do you have a security measure when registering to filter out bots?
